Iggy
If you want something to ***** about, check out our official television partner's web site. Just look at all the Billiken stuff. Didn't they used to televise a couple mens & womens soccer games and a volleyball match or two? What about the coaches shows? http://www.chartertv.com/index.html
gister
The tv outlet in this area has not been determined yet for this year. It is up to cstv to negotiate for a local outlet in each city. CSTV has all the Atlantic 10 rights.
kevinfootes
poor coverage from a channel that couldn't broadcast shows like Wayne's World shouldn't be a surprise. Billiken basketball on Charter is worse than a Pete Parisi production (may he rest in peace).
gmerts
>poor coverage from a channel that couldn't broadcast shows >like Wayne's World shouldn't be a surprise. Apparently you haven't seen Chalk Talk.
Billiken Rich
The production values of our games on Charter is at least as good as it was on channel 11. I've got the tapes to prove it. It does stink not to be on broadcast on satallite more......
Box and Won
Now a Pete Parisi-produced Billiken game would be a true sight to see. That guy was awesome.
kevinfootes
Pete could have brought on Black Jesus, the Songbird, and the rest of the crew.
kevinfootes
Charter can compete with channel 11! As bad as it is, I'd have to say ch. 11 beats the Chalk Talk station. At least people would get to see the games. The problem is that SLU can't compete with 10-year old episodes of Everyobody Loves Raymond. TheA_Bomb
I've tried to explain World Wide Magazine to some people here in TX it is hard to translate the true genius of the show. Staying up late drinking beer and watching that in my Gries room was great.
kevinfootes
other cities could have a show similar to WWM, but you kind of have to live here to really appreciate what Pete was doing. There's no exact translation for hoosier.
Chicago Billiken
Let me ask a clarifying question. Has it been determined what channel will televise Billiken games this year then? Is there an opportunity that more games will be available to those out of town folks? I now see that there are a couple of games that I will be able to watch: Nov 19 - Texas A&M - FSN Dec 22 - North Carolina - ESPNU Jan 25 - Charlotte - CSTV Feb 1 - St. Joseph's - ESPN 2 Any others?
