Box and Won
Over at the Missouri Athletic Club, there is a recreational basketball league, and one of the teams consists of Sloan, Chris Braun, Troy Robertson, Ryan Robertson and Ryan Kiernan, who I believe walked on at Mizzou. I would not want to have to play those guys!
davidlee
Looks like they won't be working the ball underneath too often. Who ever gets it first - shoots the 3.
Box and Won
But then again, when you have Chris Braun playing against some 6'4 schlub who works at Thompson Coburn, you might as well get him the ball.
Billiken Rich
I still think Chris will want to step out for the three. Seems like that was his MO while playing at SLU.

willie
I watched the travel team play a few years ago in a tourney at Wash. U. Romar - Dollar - Highmark and Troy were all on the team. For an old man Romar could still play the game.
Major Majerus
No, I'm an old man, and I can still play...but not in that league.
pakapablo
Frank and Burwell had the Robertsons on the radio today. They just won the national championship for all athletic clubs. MAC is the national champion.
jjray
>Frank and Burwell had the Robertsons on the radio today. >They just won the national championship for all athletic >clubs. MAC is the national champion. A bit misleading. MAC entered its team in the "A" flight as opposed to the higher level open division. The open division is full of x D-1 players. The year the MAC had Romar, Dollar and Bonner (Highmark also practiced with this team but I think he missed the tournament), they played in the open division and got beat (didn't even make it to the finals). pakapablo
No mention of the various divisions on the radio interview.
jjray
>>No mention of the various divisions on the radio interview.<< Sorry, did not mean to infer you misled. The MAC press release probably left mention of this fact out and so it was never brought to the radio guys. Great win for the team against strong competition but it was not in the top flight of the tourney.
