Kind of a funny statement from a guy whose team just joined a conference with 14 schools that are more than 6 hours drive away. By your logic, Marquette should have joined the Horizon or Valley. billiken_roy Posted November 5, 2003 Share Posted November 5, 2003 check the rpi, the horizon beat the mvc last year and ill-chicago and butler both will be higher ranked this next year than any of the mvc teams. plus we have a few more private schools that might be more in line with the philosphies of slu. no i stand by the horizon as my worst case. kwyjibo Posted November 5, 2003 Share Posted November 5, 2003 I would also think the Horizon (urban/historical links) and revamped C-USA would (not good but at least have institutional power within the NCAA) be better than the MVC.
