TheA_Bomb
It doesn't even effect me anymore. I'm already shrugging off the loss, I kinda' expected it.
Milwaukee Billiken
This one still hurts for me. Totally unexpected... especially in this fashion.
KC Billikens Fan
>This one still hurts for me. Totally unexpected... >especially in this fashion. How is this unexpected? Lisch is still hurt and Bills have lost EVERY road game in the A-10 except one.
Milwaukee Billiken
They've had a week off and Rhode Island is no national power. There's no reason they couldn't have taken this one.
KC Billikens Fan
>They've had a week off and Rhode Island is no national >power. There's no reason they couldn't have taken this one. Again though, Lisch is hurt. He's not the same player hurt. We're not the same team when he's hurt. We have to have him healthy to have a chance against a respectable team on the road. Milwaukee Billiken
He's been hurt all year and he played the whole game. He's not the only reason they lost tonight.
3star_recruit
Yeah but Kevin was scoreless until about 8 minutes left. With Ian still providing no offense, the game was over by then.
Milwaukee Billiken
A healthy KL would have helped, but even if he scores 14 (his average), they don't win. It has already been established that his defense isn't affected much by the injury and he was in there to provide those services all game. He even grabbed 5 boards. The real problem was turnovers, not KL's health.
KC Billikens Fan
>He's been hurt all year and he played the whole game. He's >not the only reason they lost tonight. Again. We do not have enough talent on this team to have Lisch not play well and us win on the road against a respectable team.
3star_recruit
That's true but it's also important when Kevin scores those 14 points. His 10 pts in garbage time tonight were meaningless. If he had 10 at the 8 minute mark instead of being scoreless it's still a ballgame and maybe Rhode Island starts feeling the heat.
Milwaukee Billiken
You're saying Jeff Coffey isn't talented?
KC Billikens Fan
>You're saying Jeff Coffey isn't talented? Let's play him some more. At this point, it's time to give the youngsters the game time over the likes of IV, JJ, DP & DB.
slu72
we've got a poster asking that we play a walkon over scholarship players? This is what we've come to....this is, for lack of a better word, pitiful.
cheeseman
He was being sarcastic about Coffey. Lisch's injury hurts but the big pink elephant in the room here is IV. He should have put this team on his shoulders and carried it. The failure of him in his senior year to deliver is no different then what happened in 2004 when the seniors for whatever the reasons did not carry the team. When we do well it is because our seniors deliver. When they don't we suffer.
