We need a player like Pitt’s Wilson-Frame. He’s 6-8 from three with 8 minutes left against Pitt. We’ll need to stop him next Wednesday

I think we need to either; a) Keep the four guard lineup and just play at a faster pace. I felt like when we were in transition and going faster they played more smoothly b) Keep the pace, but out in two forwards, whether it be French and Gordon or Foreman. We need to find ways to get in into those players. No reason why french should be averaging 3 points per game.

To be fair Mizzou is down their best three of their top 5 players (Jontay, Dru Smith, and Santos). Also, their number one target for 2020 is Joshua Christopher, a top 10 player from California who took an official visit a few weeks ago. it will be interesting to watch the local recruiting if we have a good season and start getting more attention. I think that we can win the local recruiting, but Mizzou will still be there, and they play in the SEC with better competition, which you can’t deny. Hoping that we can take advantage of this year though.

Siena wins. Not a great look for the A10 so far. Winning the conference could be easier than we thought.

Interesting. Our next opponent, Troy, has games against Pitt, Cenrtal Arkansas, North Alabama, Appalachian State, and Florida State. Those are all teams we also play in the non conference.

People need to stop being shocked that a team with more newcomers than returning players (in which 4 of the new players didn’t practice until at least 2 days before the first exhibition game because of injury or other reason) is having a couple of issues after two exhibition games. My expectation is for our team to have a few “what the heck?” moments or games where we wonder if they are going to be as good as we thought, but by the time that mid-late December rolls around, we will start steam-rolling our opponents because our players will develop more chemistry and learn their place on the team

Evansville is not agreeing to let Dru sanity play immediately

The reasoning is because Illinois allowed him too. Same thing happened with Blake Harris when he transferred mid season to NC State Fromm mizzou. Mizzou told the NCAA they didn’t care if he played immediately, and Illinois said the same about Mark Smith. The reason why Santos couldn’t last hear is because they changed the system going into this season. Jacobs is obviously in a different situation
