If we get that, it could bring the program back to the glory days. Its too bad our 2 leading scorers were kicked out of school before the season started for their alleged involvement in a littering incident on campus. It would have been a different season, maybe 20-0 instead of 0-20 (19-0 not including Rockhurst).

After another underwhelming season (0-20), the field hockey team looks to rebuild next year. Has anyone heard who we have been recruiting? This program needs to land a big recruit soon or I do not know how much longer I can continue to buy season tickets.

Confirmed by the athletic department: Tailgate on the rooftop of Olive-Compton 11-20 before the Georgia game. If weather is bad the next level is down will be reserved. The only restriction I have heard of so far is no open flames (so no charcoal grills, but propane is fine). I already have a large positive response from my group of friends and family. I encourage everyone else here to participate. If we get a big crowd and its successful maybe they will let us continue to do it. And who knows, it might just draw up some excitement and get us old, lazy alumni to make some noise! Go Bills!

Yeah, our medical program doesnt make nearly as much money as the baseball and softball programs. Hell we should buy Busch Stadium to house all the SLU baseball fans.

Evans is a solid recruit and will fit into Majerus' system well mainly because of his work ethic and versatility. From all accounts I have heard he is full of drive which TL3 had none of. That said, anyone who is legitimately comparing the level of pure basketball ability in TL3 and DE should be in the nuthouse. 3 Billiken players have attracted NBA scouts post Larry Hughes: Ian Vouyoukas, Tommie Liddell, Willie Reed. I think NBA scouts have somewhat of an idea of pure basketball ability. Now when they start coming to take notes on DE bring this back up. Until then, quit playing with your dingy!

I am failing to follow why you think DE will be such a good 3/wing. All I have ever read and heard said he played 5 in hike school as he was the only 'tall' player on his team. That seems to be quite a transition to me...

While I think if these suspensions never happened we would fit in with those 'others receiving votes', I still don't think SLU has the name recognition to garner preseason attention. You never know though...
