The first thing Majerus would do is take out a full page add in the Post-Dispatch apologizing for giving us Crews.

It appears that the defense the Bills are employing with this new offense is getting a little better, since they only allowed 73 points tonight.

Wrong. In reality, the team still sucks. College teams that give up 81, 92, 87, and 75 pts in their last four games are not decent teams. Thinking that the team is currently decent is the kind of mindset that welcomes mediocrity. Fire Jim Crews!

Now, If the team can just average 90 pts/game for the rest of the season, they've got an outside shot at actually playing in the A-10 tournament.

Yeah, it looks like at least some of the boys have finally bought into to Crews' system.

The results would be much better if Crews started a fist fight with Jolly.

As a card-carrying member of the above mentioned coalition, last night's win was bitter pill to swallow. For the sake of the Bill's long-term future, this team can't afford many more victories like that.

The Majerus/grandfather model only resulted in the three greatest Billikens' seasons in the modern era! The exact same scenario has been unfolding for a few years at formerly moribund SMU under Larry "Grand Dad" Brown. I believe he is 73 y.o.; SMU is 11-0, and currently ranked 17th in the AP poll. Sounds like a winning model. PJ Carlesimo fits this mold. Who else?

Hell no! But, King Rice didn't inherit a program that had just come off of 3 straight NCAA tournament seasons and had consistently been ranked in the top 25. Crews is gone! Period. The only debatable point is the time table. Of course, King Rice may not be the best replacement.
