I think we might pull this one out, but, that said, I truly believe that we won't win 20 games this season, 17/18 perhaps. I think that Brad could get a couple more wins out of this team. I know that sounds crazy but think about it. These are his players... They play to the strengths that Brad stressed in his game plans. They will learn many things from RM but until we get the players recruited by Rick, specifically to play in his system, I don't think we can be too optimistic. at least it will be a fun ride.

seems like, at least from what i saw at the exhibition and the first few minutes here, that the guys might play a little stiff the first few games. they are trying to run a new system and don't want to be punished if they falter. they'll get it eventually but it might take a few games and a lot of running at practice. nice trey K!

Where would they be if they didn't win any basketball games? How many would have a chance to go to college. I think it's a bit of a double edged sword when it comes to high school ball.

in short... SLU will have lots of problems in the paint, forcing the guards to exhaust themselves trying to get open. SLU has no real big and the 4's they have are soft. They should upset everyone, be ranked, and win the conference! Why didn't this guy mention their guaranteed final four appearance!

DB not even mentioned in the top ten? I know he is injured but I think a productive second half isn't out of the question.

SIU has been the best team around here over the past few years... End of story. If we beat them in Carbondale then I think you can call it an upset, but beating them at home is not as hard to fathom. They have a great team and I'm really looking forward to that game... should be fun.

I don't know... its going to be a completely different kind of game... Not just the new coach but the soon to be very obvious lack of Ian. Although he didn't have the best statistic year last season, he was still there... drawing double and triple teams, waiting for that perfect moment to kick it out to tommie or kevin. I am confident in Majerus and his ability to put a winning team on the court but 20 wins seems a bit optimistic. I'll be at all the games one way or another... go bills! edit... I actually paid 6 dollars to watch a game on CSTV's website last year and it was the worst experience of my life, aside from passing that stone this morning. I can't believe that that is the only kind of tv contract our conference can get.
