There's no crime here. Only a drunken college night that everyone would like to forget. No way either Willie or Kwamain should be punished. Kwamain had consensual sex with a college coed and Willie had a couple of buddies that tried to get in on the end of a train. If you can be booted from college for that half of this board would have gotten kicked out.(if that offends you, then you are in the other half) The only questionable behavior was JS and JJ. You shouldn't get punished for your friends bad judgment and that's what is happening here.

Shimmy hasn't shown the ability to win with lesser talent or recruit good talent. The three recruits she signed this year don't sound like D1 talent. None of them averaged 8 points a game last season. That generally doesn't translate well to the college level. They're not tall either.

Hey, help is on the way. They signed three girls for next year and two of them averaged almost 8 points a game. That should translate to at least 3 per per game at the college level.

Our guys from down under were 1 for 10 from 3 point land. Conklin, Loe and Remekun had a total of 5 rebounds between them. The 3 point shooting will have good nights and bad nights. Bad nights we lose. Good nights we've got a shot at winning. I don't know if the rebounding will improve. That can improve with more PT for Evans, but only marginally. Our only hope is Loe, Ellis and Salecich become the 3 point shooters they are supposed to be. If McCall's shot is as good as it looks and Cassity stays the same, at least one or two of them should be on on any given night. If the 3 point shooting doesn't come through this season is toast. JJ looks like our best inside scorer and he's 5'10''.

From reading the write-ups on Shimmy's 3 new recruits it doesn't sound like things are going to get any better. Two of the three didn't even average 8 points a game in HS. They didn't even mention the third ones average so it can't be anything to brag about. I know she started with nothing, but how long are they going to give her to turn it around?

Seems like every time we he about KM's intent to return its less certain. In the beginning he was going to do everything he could to come back. Now he's only leaning that way. It doesn't sound good.

I thought of Roland Gray too. I think Roland was heavier and had better power moves at this point, but Dwayne seems just as athletic. Gray improved every year and was an excellent 3 point shooter by his senior year. Lets hope Dwayne can follow the same course.

History tells us its more than a technicality. They told Craig Upchurch they would let him in school if he passed the summer "bridge" program. He passed it and they still didn't let him in. If its one thing the SLU acamadecions have shown us, its they can't be counted on to give basketball players a fair shake.

I thought JJ had some similaties to Marque. He looked like he has thatability to suddenly stop and elevate to get off a short jumper that Marque did so well.

Not a downer long term. All the freshmen have potential to be good players down the road and contribute this year. If Barnett is as good as everyone says we could be good next year. This year isn't a lost cause. I saw players out there. I was impressed by Loe's height and outside touch, but he has to really hit the weights. He's too slow to ever defend on the perimeter. He needs weight and strength to be a decent defensive player. He needs to become Chris Heinrich with an outside shot.

Yes they could. No way I would let him write a letter of apology, even if its in generic terms. Its too much of a weapon to use against him. What if he writes a generic letter and they tell him its not good enough? Then he's screwed both ways. If they insist on a letter I would tell him to find another school.

Sounds believable. I don't blame Willie for leaving. He did nothing wrong. Sounds like its less definate KM will be returning. Before his attorney said he would do everything necesarry to return, Now its onlt possible he'll return. Sounds like he's having 2nd thoughts too. Once again we can thank SLU's academic community for screwing the Bills.

Agreed SLU always finds a way to shoot itself in the foot. We need players and he had a pipeline starting to develop. Now they're going to tell him never mind. The Bills aren't the Cards. People aren't going to come if we don't win. This seems like it has become a power struggle between Biondi and RM and its not going to turn out well for the program.

Who decides if KM fulfilled his requirements to be readmitted? The same court thats going to be pissed that he didn't get the full year? Ask Craig Upchurch how that works.

Cite the case. No doubt thats a misstatement of the case to attempt to sensationalize it. I've seen it done in local papers.

I don't think we can rule out race as a factor. Racism today tends to be subtle and the perpetraiters may not even be conscious of it. Daddy's rage may have been fanned more because it was KM & WR as opposed to KC & PE. Same goes for the student court. One thing for sure, SLU has mishandled this big time. If they're guilty of sexual assault they should have been permanently expelled last summer and not let back on campus. They should have taken a hard line and said we won't tolerate this. If they weren't guilty of sexual assault the punishment is for having bad judgment, underage drinking(if they're not 21) or poor dating skills. They could expel most of the university for that.

Total morons. How come no one on the student court knows the rules? No lawyers. One advisor thats not allowed to speak. The decision should have been overturned just on that basis. How can they let this linger until now? It should have been dealt with before school started. There's no excuse for it not to have been. If someone on the Court's not in town tell them to get to town or get a replacement. I've always had confidence in SLU's ability to screw things up. They always find a way.

No way either comes back. KW will end up at Wisconsin or some other BCS school. Willie will go to Mizzou or go pro. This is a program killer. Can anybody say Craig Upchurch? Majerus will have to defend this to every potential recruit. Why did SLU kick out its best two players? Because its against the rules for students at a Catholic school to have sex? Because they had sex with a white girl? Because they dated a white girl and a big money booster didn't like it? Potential recruits will here it all from other schools. Does RM want to stick around for that? NO WAY! Is Floyd Irons out of jail yet? We may have a job for him.
