I'm hoping 6-0, but realitically, I am thinking 3-0 at home, 1-2 at best on the road. That would put us at 18-11 vs D1 teams for the regular season. Not bad, not good, but honestly within the range of what I expected, only with more wins in non-conference, and fewer wins in conference.

Somebody provided a list last week of about 16 potential SLU recruits and listed a forward named Lucas O'Rear on the Nashville, Illinois team that is undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the state. He chose Northern Iowa.

Romar has been great for UW. Recruits are, and have been great. They play an uptempo, exciting brand of basketball. The reason they are 3-6 is because they lost NBA Top 10 pick Brandon Roy and another player, Bobby Jones, to the NBA. They also lost an excellent power forward in Jamal Williams, and a key reserve named Jensen. They should have beaten UCONN in the Sweet 16 game last year if not for poor decision making in the final 20 seconds of regulation, which brings me to a weakness of Romar teams. They do not play good defense. They foul way too much. They play as if they do not have a high basketball IQ. I do not see this team making the tournament unless they pull off a few upsets, including today at Arizona. They definitely will make the tourney next year, but I see the youth and poor defense doing them in this year.

If Lisch were healthy, we would not be 2-4 in the conference right now, and with a healthy Lisch, we stand as good a chance as anyone at winning the A-10 tourney.

Wish it was on TV. No ESPNU in KC. My gut says UNC by 15, 82-67.

I'm sure the controversial ending will get more publicity during Friday's SLU-UNC game on ESPNU. Oh wait........ nobody in Missouri gets ESPNU.

Pacific was making everything they were throwing up. VouyouSKAS a non-factor. Silver lining is that Pacific is not a good defensive team.

Since I've been watching, Lisch has missed 3 wide open shots. What is wrong with the arm?

Give the facts and give them quickly. Leave the opinions to the color commentator.
