For those interested, a few of us are heading to the new Library Annex to watch it. We were in the place last Saturday and it is really nice with 4 60 inch tvs. Just hope it doesnt hurt Humps.

Cassity played really well last night, maybe he read the board and got fired up. He was also the subject of the best dialogue I heard all night. Couple in their 50s sitting behind me: Man "that number 23 is so cute" Woman "yeah, his hair is very nice" Man "he looks like a teddybear" Woman "I see that" I almost threw my beer on them, not only didnt they know his name but they referred to him as a teddybear. Not sure why some people come to the games.

Great game especially the second half. We sat on the floor and had the entire Husker team wanting to kill us before the game was over. McCrary gave us the ole Bud Adams hello, it was classic.

They are playing really well right now. Unfortunately, not sure if it will be enough to get them into the conference tourney. I think they need to sweep and get a lot of help. Darin has the program heading in the right direction and the next few years should be exciting.

I dont really follow the Rams so not sure about how much they pay their O line. If the draft is deep with OL then go defense becuase that is need. You can never have enough quality in the trenches.

I agree, you have to take Smith. Rebuild a team in the trenches. Look at the Dolphins draft year and follow suit, all lineman with the exception of a QB of the future in Henne 2nd round.

I agree with you that both leagues should have the DH. Watching pitchers hit is a joke. Spending most of my college career as a DH I can tell you that it isnt much fun either. I would rather play the field as you are more into the game. I give major props to those few guys that excelled soley as a DH for most of their careers. If you look at numbers, most major leaguers dont hit as well when they are not in the field.

This talk of weather got me thinking of a related question. Why does the wind blow 10+ mph harder at the SLU baseball field then anywhere else in St. Louis? Anyone who has played or been there can attest. It is brutal and some days it blows in.

Huge win considering they were coming off a very tough trip to Xavier. They lost one in extra innings and the other two late in the game. Hopefully they build on this as they end into conference.

Did anyone else notice that the Rutgers women played on their homecourt in the first two rounds? Not like I care but they made the sweet 16 as a 7 seed. If this happened in the men's tourney there would be outrage. I am unemployed and can't play golf today so this is the best I got.
