for some strange reason I thought David King had played briefly in the NBA. WRONG!!! Only 3 Billikens have played in nba since 1981. Larry, Anthony, and David Burns. very sad

I have two season tickets in the sixth row (Row F) behind the basket near the Billiken bench (Section 110) that are available for purchase this season. A friend has used these tickets the last two season, but he can no longer use them. If you are interested in buying the seats for this season, please send me a pm. I was a reporter covering the Bills in the mid-60's. JohnBenington was coach, followed by Buddy Brehmer(ugh!). Started taking my kids to games in the 70's-one on whom is an avid fan and a regular poster on this board

Did anyone notice those six or so roudy Dayton fans sitting at half-court opposite the benches. Were they in Biondi's seats? By the way, the students singing The Bills Go Marching In is reminiscent of the 60's. All we need are the trumpeteers marching around Chaifetz.

I heard tonight that he accepted a real sweet job as one of the lead guys at ESPNU. Congrats to him; too bad for us!

I have been a season ticket holder since the early 1970's. I have not intentionally`missed a game since that time-until the "Pacific" game; Our home season package of games is the most unattractive schedule I can recall. I definitely prefered to enjoy the miz-zou -kansas game (I did however give my tickets to someone who wanted to see the game,so the seats were used). Hopefully we can have a motr entertaining home schedule in future seasons.

papal I hear that season ticket prices will be announced soon. Rumor has prices escalating significantly. Tickets in the downstairs bowl (beyond the first four rows) will be about $850. I am`not sure about behind the baskets or further up. Too bad there wasn't an NCCA appearance at the big dance to help defray some of the overhead

papal our greatest immediate problem is the lack of productivity from kevin lisch. I don't know whether it is because of injury or something else. He played porly at the end of last season(but he was a freshman). Unfortunately I have a feeling watching our games that I rarely had when Spoon or Romar were on the sidelines(we often get outcoached)

papal I am NARK's dad. I was really impressed when UB made a home visit. Actually he made an offer to me saying he preferred a`more mature, heavier, biger backside, more delibeate moving recruit. Besides I have been regranted eligibility after a`hiatus of 40+ years. UB was also interested in NARK's younger brother (who always was a better athlete) but he has alreay commited to Marquette.

papal Ron Coleman'sw salary was about $20,000 for his only year as coqch. He was with his wife who was in labor the day of national letters of intent. Stipo was torn between going to SLU or Mizzou. Had he come to SLU Ron Coleman may have been judged differently. As regards to our current coach, I can't help but compare him to Spoon. I rarely felt that Spoon wa outcoached. I am sorry to say I don't feel that way about Brad.
