No signing and no talking about recruits again until the spring signing period which is April 11th to May 16th.

His post game comments aren't any worse than what he say at practice, during halftime or after the games. He has the shook most of the players confidence so bad that he will never get them back. This is a coach that totally loses control and becomes a basket case on the sideline. Anybody remember when he was trying to put JJ back into the SIU game after he had fouled out. He lost touch with what was going on in the game and that wasn't the first or last time. If BS is half of the man he thinks he is, he would admit that he is in over his head and resign.

Why?....not sure but here are some questions. 1. Should Kevin have been sat and allowed to heal? Probably and we probably would have been better prepared if we knew where we were going without him before the last 2 games instead of finding out during the game that his hand was not ready. 2. Why does SLU not watch film and learn from it like all other teams? Players watch virtually no film of ourselves or opponents. 3. Why do we continually play the pack defense? Can anyone believe that it is the best defense for every opponent that we play? 4. Why hasn't our bench developed. Why haven't our 4 year players progressed. At times we have gotten very good minutes from JJ and BH. Yet it seems that they don't improve from year to year like they should. Even Ian hasn't progressed from last year. Could it be that we don't have anyone on the staff that knows how to develope the "Bigs"? Could it be that the staff can't figure out to build a players confidence and they are playing not to make a mistake? 5. Why can't the coaching staff figure out how to utilize the strengths of JJ, BH, Ak, DB and DM for at least a few minutes each game to give the starters the rest that they need. 6. Anybody else wonder what the players tell recruits when they come in that makes them not sign with SLU?

How much of our bench problem is players feeling no confidence from the coach and playing scared?

Maybe it will be a positive. Maybe BS will finally try to figure out where this team is at and why....or maybe he will do the same old sh*t and scream and yell and blame the players for his FAILURE to coach and motivate them. Believe me when I say, players play better for a coach they respect and one that respects them and from what I hear from many of the players and others with program,that may be part of the problem. It will be interesting to talk to the guys when they get back and hear what they have to say.

Thank you for having some common sense and not having the doomsday attitude that many posters seem to have. I would bet many are already complaining that there glass of beer will be less than half full at some point Sunday night. Let's start a new poll. Which poster will come on here and start fretting about TL leaving for the NBA after this seaason?

It amazes me how many people have takken this rumor as gospel when there still is not an official announcement.

Watched the game today and thought the following: 1. We do not seem to handle a team that really puts pressure on the ball. We continually had trouble running any type of offense and took bad shots to beat the clock. It seems we need better spacing and ball movement. Have we seen a SLU back cut this year? 2. Ian has not been as effective going back to the last 6-8 games of last year as he was earlier last year. Is he tired, hurt, or losing his passion for the game? 3. We looked very tired in the second half. 4. JJ brought all Zero's and 5 fouls in 7 minutes. 5. Poor free throw shooting killed us. 6. You don't win with 16 turnovers. 7. We gave up 15 Off. Boards. 8. Hard to believe we were in the game considering 5, 6, and 7.

I just went to the Salukivision web site and I was able to purchase today's game for $9.95. I did not need to purchase the full year package.

Bills lose 3-0. Took them to 32-30 in the third game. We simply had too many errors. Hopefully this will make the team hungry to return and prove something next year.

I'm surprised you don't have the inside track. You certainly seem to be in the know as to who should play and who should not or at least you think you know. Not bad for someone that has yet to attend a practice or a game.

We have seen 1 men's soccer, 2 volleyball and 2 Lady Bills B-ball so far this year.

You are correct, the NCAA only allows 2 exhibition games. Quincy should be a win but will also give Brad a more compwtitive game to see who his gamers are. Quincy has some size and some good athletes that will make us work.

You are so right V. I 'm sure the same was true of every other D-1 program and that's why he went D-2. Sure glad Quincy had room or he might have had to go D-3.

If some people on this board would go to practice instead of sitting at their computer thinking that they know something, they would see and know the following and wouldn't make so many stupid posts. A. They have not changed the offense after the injuries. B. Certain players will not be ready and playing them in the early games will NOT get them ready this year. C. DP will make the team better based on how he is practicing. I would imagine that playing time should be based on how players are practicing vs. what uneducated posters on this board think:). D. Certain players that posters want to get playing time will not make the team better. E. A running game does not guarantee more wins and won't always work. Shouldn't have to say that but some posters keep their fingers busy while their brain is napping.

I don't understand. They started at 144 and are working there way to number 1. Right now they are 92. You don't think we will be in the top 92? Of course we will. If they rank us next at 91 we will all think we are better than that. I hope we don't show up on the list for another 60 days.

Maybe- Would he qualify? Are there past problems as a citizen that are a factor? Does he have an interest? Why offer if there is no hope of signing? What are the team needs and does he fill them? I am sure there are more questions that should be answered before one could make that determination.
