the game has started and i still can't get it

-i am really glad we won as i don't want to think about the fallout if we had lost a 17pt lead with less than 4 mins remaining -so we don't have to think about it, let's move on -as earl said on the postgame, always better to learn a lesson with a win,so i hope we finish games much better, coaches and players

seems like we get more than our share of poor officials, and i'm talking about calls going both ways

i disagree

since yesterday, so after USCU result already factored, we have moved from 152 to 140 and our likelihood of victory has moved from 66 to 68% on kenpom's site we are on the rise!!!!!!!!!!!

-come on coach harriman, seal the deal as sounds like this bloke is a player -i am not complaining one bit about the current roster, not at all, but let's establish an aussie connection for the saintsaitions as well!!! -replace guy phillips with someone with an aussie accent to make 'em feel at home -sell vegemite and fosters in the concession stands

i enjoyed cleve st's last second shot to beat syracuse in the carrier dome!!!

-i agree that there is way too much standing on our offense, i noticed against samford in the 2nd half that both kl and km barked at their teammates about moving, i did not see anything like that last night but the standing was certainly there, by everyone -our screens and use of them leave a lot to be desired, no doubt -i am surprised rick allows the standing, perhaps an issue of our new found for this season and continuation of a seemingly life long affliction of lack of depth

-the jr high team seemed to bring a decent sized group to the game, hopefully generating some ticket sales

that guy was certainly getting attention i think he was giving rick some coaching hints during his rant as well i did not hear/see him after half time, maybe the meds kicked in

-i guess my expectation gathered from Fr B's description that after a win we would walk out into a sea of blue light is not going to happen -would have been cool and perhaps unique

-i hope you didn't get slugged -isn't the first game after finals always kind of ragged, and with the frosh we played last night coming off their first finals, i'll take the win and let them prepare today for liberty -was good to hear rick on the postgame -did anyone notice the blue light we were supposed to be able to see for miles? i did not -i hope they get the sound system figured out -2 rebounds for willie in 26 minutes, so in the last 2 games that is 2 rebounds in 51 minutes, last night he access to at least a couple i noticed and he just did not get to it -we are going to have to make 3's consistently at some point to win some upcoming games -50% ft's needs work as well -holding them to 38pts is good -we did a good job of avoiding fouls yet still being aggressive with the limited bench -rick has all kinds of things he can coach with this team at this point

-imo they are a prize winner as no one else stepped up and we will get to see 4 games we otherwise would not -when you stop posting false or wrong information i will be able to stop posting corrections or when i have a different OPINION i will continue to voice it, just like you voice yours -you think it right to be dismissive of a broadcast partner, i think that is not the way to treat a partner and certainly not the way to grow media coverage for slu -by the way, the question i asked was "where else were you going to watch those 4 road games??"

-i like the show 2 and a half men and ch11 shows repeats, so i watch that -i used to watch the fan show as i think rich gould is entertaining and they had some good guests in a unique format, but they moved their sunday newscast so the time slot doesn't work anymore for that show -they have a stooges marathon a couple of holidays a year so i try to catch a litte of that as well -but here is the bigger point, you have said in the past that you defend the billikens, but you don't, you have made very clear your feelings about the coach, the ath dept and every other item where you whine/complain/attack slu and now you put down a tv station that is carrying slu basketball because they are only showing 5 games and 1 is a home game -where else were you going to watch those 4 road games?? -you complain about media coverage, and here is media coverage, live game action coming straight to your living room, and you put down the station providing the coverage -you ask for stuff, you get it, and then it is just not good enough for you

what a wonderful thing to say about a slu broadcast partner

-my solution is to find our poster Blue Crew Prez or however that went, Diane i think was her name and get the U to hire her to enhance spirit on the campus for all athletics, blue crew included -whoever did not hire her when she proposed such a job did no service to the U -but perhaps this fault can be cured

-it is good to know something associated with slu athletics meets your expectations

-my view of reality on this subject and kshoe's are in synch -the part of this i don't understand is that we are 3-4 against d1 teams, 0-3 on the road, and people want to play a tougher schedule to help our rpi with the hope that we make the ncaa tourney -and please understand, i want success for slu, that is why i donate time and money, that is why i attend, that is why i am a fan, but this year for me is a learning process for the frosh, and next year will be as well (we should understand the reasons why), but the following year is when i expect slu to be good and be an ncaa tourney contender

-quick analysis using kenpom's data from end of yr rpi's -since 1999 there have been 38 schools from non-bcs conferences in the year end top 25 of rpi -this includes memphis since the breakup of cusa -the avg sos is 74, this is after at least 1 ncaa tourney game for most (not all) of these schools -the avg ending record of these schools is 25.6 and 5.2, -1 team got there with double digit losses and they had a sos of 19 -i cut off at top 25 rpi and that is too high, go ask barry hinson -highest (weakest) sos was 141 and there were 11 over 100 sos -my points 1-win games 2-don't lose games 3-IF we had a projected 70 rpi IF we were undefeated and IF the a10 is a good conf that causes our rpi to rise in conf play, THEN the schedule would not preclude post season (lot of if's i agree) 4-win games

-i am not embarrassed by our schedule because i understand why our coach, oh wait you don't like him, so why coach majerus would have a schedule like it is -so you disagree with kshoe's calculation that it is the results from the schedule we played that has us in rpi pergatory?

-so you can't tell when exaggeration and sarcasm are used for effect? ok, i understand, i'll try to be more careful going forward, but no promises

-because i have a different view than you mine is idotic......at least you stay consistent with that

-right, rick created the circumstance where we have the roster we currently have as he inherited a loaded cupboard -the schedule debate is growing as tiresome as the a10 vs mvc -i'll say this again, i would not be surprised to see next year's schedule much different than this year's, so let's start bitching about that now and get it over with -where did i ever say what i posted was a "dream schedule"? -you continually say how upset you are with the schedule and i continually say how i see the point the coach is making with the schedule -how about this... -if you stop putting your thoughts out there on the schedule as we have all seen them many times before, i will stop putting my oppsoing view out there as they also have been seen many times countering your view -but if you continue to post on the schedule, i will continue to post my thoughts
