  1. Yea...that is sh1tty. Delete that post.
  2. He was part of the 8 man rotation at the end of the last year, but can't crack the 11 man rotation this year. It really is insane given the terrible state of our big men this year. I still prefer him to Reggie.
  3. +1. He needs to be way more aggressive if he is not shooting a 40% clip.
  4. Oh...does that not exist anymore. I meant...not have to play on Tuesday. Does that make more sense?
  5. I was definitely in the heat of battle on my Reggie bashing, but man I hate when he dribbles (So does Crews apparently from the post game presser). I was so happy to see that it was largely our freshman who pulled us out of the 13 point hole late in the first half. Miles is a spark and I think he will be fine to spell Bartley at PG as he grows up and improves. For some reason I get the sense that MAYBE Miles is okay with this role. He doesnt strike me as a Ruben Cotto-type who thinks he is good enough for the NBA. Maybe he just wants to play a role in the growth of a team that will likely compete for a sweet 16 bid in 2 years. I hope so bc while he is out of control...he is faster then anyone on the court...in every game sans VCU. Crews has to find a spot for him. Milik is reverting back to freshmen status a little bit and frankly that is okay with me. This team needs to play as a team and will not benefit itself by having a single player putting up 20 shots a game. That is basically where St Joes is now and the non-Bembry players just stand and wait for one player to carry them. Bartley grows up every game...he still needs to be able to keep his man in front of him. Call Mike McCall...I believe he found a way to improve in this area. Gillman and Jolly will continue to improve. They should be in the weight room 2-3 hours a day. Ash is kind of playing the role of stop gap right now for me. He is just a random upperclassman who get minutes while we wait for the freshmen to grow up and take us to the dance. He had a nice game tonight but his play is meh for me. Lastly (and Shockingly) Lancona seemed to still be cheering on the team and not Keith Carter-ing after playing 0 mins. Hot GFs will do that to you. I would like to go on a mini-run here and maybe get a home game in the A10 tourney...
  6. I want more MR...he plays hard. Everyone else is asleep and scared. MR is not scared.
  7. Man, that must be some kind of doghouse Tanner is in...Reggie is just clueless all around. I will go on record right now and say, he will not have a Conklin Summer and does not belong in D1. He is basically Horace Dixon.
  8. Wow. This is absolutely excruciating. I dont even know what to think anymore. Maybe I just come back in 2 years.
  9. Ha, Manning would actually be appreciated this game. Our Interior D is non existent. Jolly better not start flopping....
  10. Unless the play to hit the three works. Then we are praising the execution/talking about how we are turning a corner, etc. Maybe Crews realized that we had no advantage trying to score inside in order to tie. Let's shoot a wide open 3 for the win....play got us a good look. Gillman was 2/2 and has been extremely effective all year with hitting open 3s. He just rushed it. I might be deploying a lot of $$ for us to beat St Joes. I feel like this is the game we finally overcome the hump.
  11. If Seattle would have ran the ball from the 1, scored and won, MB would have had a "small entertainment wager" on Seattle. No luck needed per usual.
  12. Next year, Neufeld and Welmer are both 2 star freshmen centers. They are going to have the same adjustments that AG and BJ made to Crews/D1/going to class, etc. Anyone who thinks that one of these 2 will come in and outproduce the current guys onthe roster is drunk on koolaid. If we are going to blossom, it is going to be done with this same core getting more comfortable together. Our lack of point guard is killing us right now.
  13. Did you make the trek Taj? Or are you losing dedication in your old age? Onto the game.... I absolutely hate Jolly's flops. CE had a knack for being in the right place and selling. No ref in the country is ever going to consistently call charges drawn by 6'11 centers. I wish coach would just teach him to put his hands straight up and make them make a tough shot. That is exactly what Loe did and he was an outstanding defender. Freshmen centers not named Okafor can not be expected to do much in today's College game. They both have skills and I think they both have the work ethic to get stronger. They arent stiffs. Crawford is an A+ glue guy in my opinion. He can hit an open jumper and provides stability in the line up. It would be cool to see Ash take a seat for a while. I am over him. Reggie and Tanner about as good as gone. Finally, I might need the billikens.com research department to find the championship game where Miles Reynold's earned game MVP honors with Okafor and Paul White on the floor...because I don't believe it really happened... I cannot believe how bad he looks. He has absolutely zero confidence and Crews is trying to do the best he can to let him gain some.
  14. Mason's record is 6-12. We really really suck
  15. I love Jolly at the Free Throw line so much.
  16. Man, we just look like the better team, Hewitt is a terrible coach
  17. I agree with SLU72...I am skeptical still. He had one "not awful" game. He hit 3 shots and had 3 rebounds in 11 mins and played decent D. Was it a massive improvement from the past, of course....but he didnt have anywhere to go but up. He was basically averaging 0.8 turnovers per ball touch for all of conference play before VCU. He is still too raw for my liking and he does not play like some kind of chris wilcox-type athletic freak. He plays below the rim and there are about 90-100 D1 Bigs who are better athletically. He has a LONG way to go in order to not get lost in the shuffle.
  18. I love the fact that there is always hope with the conference tournament. Even though the chance is obviously close to nil....I have a better feeling about this team going on a crazy run then those during the Soderberg days.
