You have been the one all along, even before the season started, singing the praises of UAB. When people talked about Cincinnati, Louisville, Marquette, you were the one who consistantly interjected, "Don't forget about UAB". They really are a pretty good team and their home court is a pit. I was surprised to see you pick the Bills to win. I know you like to pick with your heart, but I thought this would be one that you could see coming. STLBLAZER, congrats. You were right. You got your revenge for that soccer beating you took. That being said, I am telling you that I had us winning the game next week in the pyramid. Do not give up! We lost two straight on the road to two very good teams. We have a week off. Memphis is not gonna know what hit them. We all said one out of three would be acceptable. Memphis will be the one and we will come home with momentum. Get ready to go on a nice little run!

I always turn the sound down on the TV and listen to the Rammer and Earl. It's much more enjoyable. I do the same for Cardinal baseball and Rams football. The radio guys just seem much more enjoyable to listen to.

We've had a week off to rest our voices. Let's get out there and make some noise tomorrow. If we don't win this one we can stop worrying about the tournament. These guys only lost to Louisville by 10. Granted it was at East Carolina, but I saw some of it on television and they didn't look too bad. The pre-game Budweisers begin to flow at Kellie O'Tooles about 11:00 am (14th & Pine). There's no television tomorrow so maybe we'll get a good walk-up crowd. Go Bills!! This is a MUST WIN!!!!

That really hurt when Coach got the flu and missed that trip to Houston. I hope he got his flu shot this year.

Who should we be rooting for tonight and why? I'm leaning towards pulling for the Bearcats. We've actually got a chance to catch Louisville if Cinci beats them twice and we beat them once. It should be one heck of a game!

We could honor Isaac Bruce and get that Memphis game moved to the Family Arena.

Vegas sees this as a 'HOME' game for Marquette. Usually if a game is being played at a site other than a teams home court there is an asterisk by the game with an explanation at the bottom stating that the game is being played at 'X'. It only includes players of the past 25 years, since ESPN started covering the games. Oscar Robertson and Easy Ed aren't elibible. Larry the Legend should be, however.

If Humphreys doesn't get Charter, Busch Center probably doesn't either. I'm sure the Sports Zone would be happy to turn the sound on and put it on the main big screens if we pick a game that isn't during the NFL playoffs. Pick a night when the Blues are off and there's no football. Sports Zone would be great if the Bills were the only game on.

I was there. That gal was awesome. She was riding a tall unicyle and had a bowl on her head. She balanced 1 then 2 then 3 then 4 and finally 5 bowls on her one foot while balancing the unicyle with her other foot. The bowls were stacked right side up, upside down, etc on top of each other. Then she kicked them up in the air and caught every one of them inside the bowls she already had on her head. It was unbelieveable!

The Billiken club offered a really nice bus trip to Springfield. There were only about twenty people on the bus. That's a pretty weak turnout. Yeah, the game stunk, but it was still a good time. We need more people on this board to get to these road games that are close to home. There's usually only one or two per year. It would sure be nice to show a little more support for our team. I can't think of a better way to spend New Year's Eve than at a Billiken game in Dayton. Do you remember how many fans they brought with them to the Saavis last year? Hopefully I'll see some of you there.
