It seems like there is an A10 "game of the week" on ESPN every Saturday morning at 11.

Thanks for clearing that up for me - I've passed your recommendation to call the admissions office on to her. Like you said, it sounds like the competition for spots is stiff, both at SLU as well as at many other great schools. I know my sis will be fine wherever she lands, but obviously, I'm more than just a little partial towards SLU!

My sister (a very bright and ambitious young woman) recently applied for admission to SLU Law School and just found out that she is on the wait list. She's asked me if she should just consider that as being declined, and I honestly did not know what to tell her. So, what exactly does it mean to be "wait listed?" I guess the $100k that I've spent on tuition doesn't have any impact on admission decisions for members of my family.

I think we need to install devices in the seats that will generate a small electric shock to get people off their butts.

Tonight's refs were especially bad. But that's where home court advantage comes into play. If we had a home court advantage, perhaps we would have gotten some calls tonight.

Yeah, I was in seat 2, over towards section 104. I lost my voice tonight - hopefully I'll get it back before my 9:00 meeting tomorrow morning.

Actually, I normally sit in 119, but tonight I went with a friend who had seats in 105. We were in row F, on the aisle. I think I saw you, but the rest of our section was totally dead. I thought that standing up would prompt the people behind me to stand so that at the very least they could see the game, but they remained seated. I am so disappointed in our fans right now.

You're totally right. You guys cheered your @sses off tonight and should be commended for it. Keep it up and don't let tonight's crowd bring you down.

You may recognize me as the only guy in section 105 who was actually standing and cheering as our team was trying to win tonight's game, down by only two points in the closing seconds of the game. I'm not asking for people to stand the entire game or anything, but cheer and make some noise for Christ's sake. The crowd tonight, and just about every other night, was a complete embarassment. I have no idea why the people in the good seats pay good money for their tickets, only to show up at the games and make no noise at all. It's no wonder why we have no home court advantage whatsoever.

Some guy on the SLU talk forum on STLToday.com claims that the rumor on the Mizzou board is that McKinney will transfer to SLU. I have no idea if there is any validity to that rumor or not - has anyone heard anything?
