Congrats to the Ladies ... I thought we could win this game ... but who could have guessed we would dominate. Big game tommorrow that we can certainly win.

Any new posters or anyone who hasn't posted yet ... lets continue this who are you thread. Lets also discuss a game for everyone to get together before a game. I work Saturdays ... so I could not do a Sat afternoon game ... except Arizona ... I'll be missing work for that. What games are good for people?

I was going to make it sound really good and let it go for a while ... but I'm weak.

Did anyone see the article on USAToday.com saying that SLU was going to turn down the invitation?

John D. was on Soccer America's team of the week ending 11-2-03, and Kevin Wickart was on the same team from College Soccer News. Congrats to the guys for their play. It was nice to see Kevin healthy ... the game Sunday was the best I have seen him play this year. We will need him and Martin playing well against UAB saturday. Anyone figured out what would happen with a tie at UAB? The ladys play UAB which is the 1 seed tonight in the semifinals of the tourney. UAB had to go to overtime to beat Charlotte ... the 8 seed. Maybe they will have a little hangover from the extra time. We are playing very well right now. Good Luck Lady Bills.

Up until very recently CUSA was not that good in soccer either. Now they usually have a couple in the top 25 ... plus they are solid throughout. According to the initial post with SLU added the A-10 would have 3 in the top 25 ... I don't know the history of the rest of the conference or how good they are ... but SLU will always play tough non conf games plus the top few in the A-10 will give them a fine schedule. To be honest ... a couple of patsies in between might not hurt. This year there were very few easy games in CUSA ... especially on the road. Congrats to the Lady Bills they were seeded 5th in the CUSA tourney and beat S.Fla 2-0 it was scoreless until about the last 10 minutes, then they cemented it with 10 seconds left. They play 1 seed UAB tonight. A win here could get them in the NCAA tourney. They are a team on the way up and have been improving every year. Junior Jamie Perry is an outstanding player ... she just set the career SLU scoring record.

Tonka ... where do you sit in 105. I sit in the 3rd row on the far end.

Tulsa ... has been pretty good for a while ... last year at least 1 tourney win maybe 2 anyone remember? I know they were in the tourney the year before also. There is no one in the MVC or the watered down CUSA who can say they have been much better than Tulsa the last 10 years.

Thanks for the input ... Comparing Reggie to Marque in our minds is a huge, huge compliment. I'm not worried about Reggie ... I think he will score give or take 15 points a game ... as far as turnovers ... we will see ... it is only 1 game ... I know Brad will work on it and push Reggie to do better. I had to miss this game ... and I am more looking forward to seeing Reggie play ... than anyone else on the team. I sit almost right behind the bench and so many times last year ... I would just wish he could suit up and play. Though I'm sure not as bad as he did.

I would bet Brad is just making a point. He wants JJ to learn early that you have to give all you have ... every time you step on the floor. This was an exhibition game ... while we still have everyone ... he wants to make sure JJ gets the message as we will need him to play some minutes when Ian's suspension starts. I trust Brad I think he knows what he is doing. JJ may end up being one of those players that Brad has to ride all the time. Sometimes it is good to have someone like that on your team ... the other guys see it and don't want to be in the same boat.

Relax ... it is just one exhibition game ... Sloan had 14 boards. Frericks will not foul as often ... I'm not saying he won't be foul prone ... but he will be ok. We will have our difficulties inside this year but help is on the way. With that said there is little doubt that our strength is at the 1-3 spots. Good outside shooting will help open up the middle also. We can make it to the tourney with great gaurd play and average inside play ... but we have to be able to play great perimiter D. and shoot the lights out. Don't forget we have: AD ... Isn't he going to score 15ppg. JF ... Definately double figures ... maybe 12 ppg. IO ... I think the consensus seems to be 13 or mor ppg. RB ... He should easily get 12-14 ppg. Hell right there alone we have 52 ppg from our 1-3. Now add CS ... at double figures ... 10 ppg. If Ross, DC, JJ, and PH can get 5 all together ... than we only need 3ppg from Ian and TF to avg 70 pts ppg See ... we will be fine ... Now if Ian and TF can do very well and avg say 10 combined ... we will avg. 77 pts per game. What more do you want???

No I don't either ... but my little brothers business is a sponsor and I know he gets some tickets for every game ... I don't think he uses them very often ... so if I can get them for free I will ... it may be a couple of days before I know how many I can get ... just wanted to know how many to ask for.

I can't be there tommorrow ... but I want to know where Tonka sits. I'm usually very loud and the older people around me like it ... they even get going occasionally themselves. There are usually plenty of empty seats down low in 105 ... If you are loud ... come on over.
