I'm right there with you. It is almost as if I feel we deserve to lose because of the U's stupidity. I'm still here because I have doubt the U could be right. I don't think they were but I don't know that they weren't. What I do know is that it was mishandled so badly that everyone involved should be embarrassed. Last night was no surprise that what SLU has done for years. It hurts to know it didn't have to be that way this year.

I wish I felt the same right now. I am really p!$$ed about this whole deal. It didn't have to happen this way. It is one thing to miss on recruits and be the lil engine that is trying to make it up the hill. I can cheer for that I can understand that. It is something completely different to get to the top of that hill and then just chop your own b@llz off. I can't handle that and I feel sick.

I'm feeling all conflicted inside. Disgusted, disappointed, dismayed and other dis-words. Can SLU somehow get out of its own way and put together a winning season? It's been long enough. I don't think it will be this season. I'm usually an optimist but I'm not feeling it anymore.

Some SLU teams in the past would come out flat and lose the first game. I believe we will win this one while not playing a complete game. It gives me hope that the spurts of good D they showed will become the norm soon. We will probably have multiple Fr in double digits in scoring. I hope they keep the TOs under 12.

I like the hustle these guys just need to keep that tough hustle up for most of the game.

I'd forgotten that SLU was the defending baseball champs. I followed the games online but was unable to see them on TV. A few years ago I watched the games on TV. Let's hope they repeat. Maybe Soccer can pull it out in the tournament as well they seem to be playing better lately.

As a lifetime Auburn fan I am pumped that they are number 1. I didn't expect it this year, they have gotten better since the beginning of the year. I am worried about Ole Miss because Houston Nutt is known for pulling a W outta his uh hat. Cam Newton will probably not let that happen he is unreal. Did anyone think there would be a better player than Tebow? Boise State would have a chance to beat anyone on a neutral field same with TCU. I don't think they have the depth of the big time BCS schools which is what you need to win week in week out in the SEC or Big XII but you never know. Auburn was screwed in 2004 and a now sanctioned USC team went on to blow out OU. So I am not a BCS fan as my team was hosed also. Plus living in a suburb of Ft. Worth, I've become a TCU fan. It's true they don't get much support here in the metroplex even though they win. Oh you see T-shirts and bumper stickers etc but the stadium usually isn't capacity except for the big time games now they are playing those at Cowboy Stadium (Oregon St). Oregon is over-rated check out their computer ranking. I want USC to spank them this week. I love College Football hate BCS. I'm glad that BILKNS didn't go over to the dark-side and become a Bammer. WR does noting to sell out his buddies in this story. Why is it amazing that anyone is buying what he is selling as the case and all charges were completely dropped. That validates the story more than anything else that has hit the public domain. How long does it take you to realize that someone is texting? About a second or less. To ForDALove who seems to question that someone could observe texting in the dark, why? The phone would be producing light and if it were dark would immediately draw one's attention. Furthermore, what Bauman isn't considering is that now WR has had time to learn more about the incident and when that happens it is added to your recollection of the events. At that point in time he probably didn't know who she was texting only that she was texting but was later told. That's why it is best to interview witnesses or suspects as soon as possible and to not allow them to discuss the event with others prior to that interview. Or it is plausible that KM walks out and says, "check out this girl she is texting her boyfriend the whole time." So let's leave the investigating to the experts. To me that information about texting during the incident if true would be a huge piece of exculpatory evidence and the reason that the cops did not arrest our players that night. I envision that the cops show up they are taken by complete surprise and say but she was texting. Cops get her consent to look at her phone and validate the statement hence the complaint is completely false and independently validated by hard evidence. That is outside of this whole issue of SLU mishandling the hearing.

This is not a court of law this is the student court so there aren't procedural protections and no innocent until proven guilty guidelines. SLU should have also considered the Court of Public opinion which like it or not is important. A jury of all white, mostly female, academians is THE WORST possible group to hear this case. No process is ever completely fair but the school didn't even pretend to create the illusion of fairness in this process. One poster mentioned that the accuser was texting her boyfriend during the incident. Anyone else validate that?

Well good for her as true victims need help, hence why I volunteer my time. You can convince yourself that the "fraternity of nonbelieving men" are the problem if you want. Sometimes that might be the case and it probably was more so years ago but the majority of the time that isn't the case. Everyone is hurt by bogus claims and they happen all the time. There is no organization to advance the cause of men wrongfully accused who have their lives ruined by bogus claims. There is no pro bono help, they are treated as toxic and forever tainted. You can disagree if you want and you can be wrong. You can also do us all a favor and F-off.
