This is a first...Recruiting SPAM
Mobile-iken replied to SluSignGuy's topic in Billikens.com Main Board
Guys...I'm sure this kid didn't put the website and video together himself. There are recruiting services out there that will put the whole thing together for promising young athletes. -
You guys that are "avoiding" the NBA are missing some pretty good basketball. Today's NBA isn't what it was 5 years ago, they actually play defense...It isn't the isolation game it used to be, and there is actual strategy in the coaches decisions. I do still despise the continuation rule though. Watch a little bit of the Mavs/Suns game tomorrow night, if you don't enjoy that you simply don't enjoy basketball.

Who Is Going To Score Next Yr (Part II) ...

Roy, previously you compared Lisch to Travis...Now you are comparing him to Drake? I would rather have a Travis clone. -
Last week Rammer was comparing the A10 to the MVC. He said that this year is probably the best year in the history of the MVC and they will probably only get 2 teams in, and this year was probably the worst year in the history of the A10 and they will probably get 2 teams in as well. Pretty good analysis!

Who ever said anything about Drejaj being a saviour??? The only thing that I have been saying is the he will get his minutes until someone beats him out and that he will be the leader of this team next year. Brehms said it best when she said he will be the glue that keeps this team together.
-
Just for the record, it was I not Taj that mentioned the team leader doesn't have to be the leading scorer, rebounder, or the guy to hit the shot at the buzzer.
-
If you're trying to convince me, or anyone else here that he doesn't belong then you're barking up the wrong tree. The only person that has any decision here is his coach and his coach thinks he belongs. Until he starts getting outperformed both offensively and defensively he will get his minutes, and I just don't see him allowing that to happen. If I'm wrong I will be the first one to come back and admit it.
-
Just one man's opinion...I think you Drejaj bashers will be eating your words next year.
-
My point is that he's only been given one opportunity and he was successful...How many opportunities have you had in your life to make a hole-in-one? How do we know that Drejaj wouldn't be successful in say 6 out of 8 of these opportunities? Whether you like it or not Drejaj will be the leader of this team next year. Where I think our opinions differ is that I don't think being the team leader requires one to be the leading scorer or rebounder, or the guy to hit the shot at the buzzer.
-
I can only remember one time in Drejaj's 3 years where he had the ball in his hands with a chance to win the game in the waning seconds, and they way I remember it...Nothing but net! This post is in response to SLU72's post knocking Drejaj.
