Wiz I really enjoy your analyses and predictions. Predictions are based on past performances, tendencies. When individuals/teams vary from those tendencies, predictions will have to be off. Correct? It seems to me this year’s team seems to have more variability than past years. Your predictions seem to be ‘off’ more than usual. Is it possible to compare this year’s version of Team Blue with, say, the last 5 year’s performances? On the one hand this might seem like a formidable task, but for a numbers guy like you, it might be an interesting exercise. If not possible, I would be interested in your gut feeling. Thanks

My wife thinks Yuri hasnt played well since he was ill. As the game wore on, his defensive effort seemed diminished, and Baldwin took advantage. Thought Yuri and Okoro had subpar games.

Lessons I learned last night 1- we really miss Fred Thatch 2- we can’t win a game if we are exclusively depending on FO to lead us to that win. His first half last night was awesome, he reverted to the mean in the second. 3- if this team isnt crankin’ up and hitting 3’s, they are lifeless. 4- we quisenberry last night reminded me of JJett his senior year.

I have been on this chat room for over 20 years. I NEVER remember anyone referring to the team as ‘they’. Someone drops in, and begins to tell us how to refer to OUR team. We’ve had trolls, but this guy is over the top. mhg

We need to become the Gonzaga of the A10. Get that kind of respect. Yes, just win, baby. Recruit to be the best….in the Big East. Win recruiting wars with X, Marquette, etc. We beat Providence, Memphis. Need Yuri and GJ to stay another year. Get the best HANDS big man in the portal, someone anxious to receive Yuri zingers. To me, the wild card is Brock Vice, the freshman. Im seeing BZ more as an outside guy, just from the few videos we’ve seen. How ready will they be? Will they be ahead of MoMo? I got to know THicks going to the monthly Billiken Club meetings at Humphreys. Cordial, knowledgeable, a gentleman. i thought he monitored the Board with an even hand, especially during turbulent times. I always chuckled when he would correct a poster’s grammar. Stickler for details. Even during the most heated back and forths, he would comment on an incorrect there/their. RIP THicks, you were a good man

Roy Last year GJ 3pt % was .42 This year .36. I would call that a significant drop. Now his backdoor cuts have increased and his defense, though middling, has improved. mhg

I was there. Looked lije there was a scarf giveaway for the kids. They were pumped til we went ahead late in first half. Heard nothing in the second half. Band was good. Mascot was awesome. Danced with the band music. Ours could learn some things there. Best part was being with blue clad fans, yelling and supporting our team. mhg
