They were new when I was in HS. They were horrible then and still horrible.

We've had several drastic logo changes in our history. Some are better than others. The current one is not great. I think its amazing that we can finally purchase the old logos on new items. Not everything on here is a hit, I can't stand those 90s sweatshirts with the BILLIKENS across the front, but IMO most of the other items look great.

Offer hasn't been renewed. I'm more surprised Cuonzo hasn't jumped in yet. He recently got an offer from Northern Iowa, and that is his top offer. He's a big guard who can play the 1 or 2. He can really shoot it but is also a nice playmaker with the ball. The best guard in his class in the state. With his size he seems like a no brainer for interest from Schertz.

For 93-94 we returned Claggs at nearly 20, Dobbs at 17, Highmark at 16. The 88-89 team had Douglas returning with 16, Gray 15, and Bonner with 14 from the previous season.

I actually think you will see more Loyola's being successful. A coach brings in a couple good classes, the group develops together, success means more NIL money for them. A team like that can beat a team full of high paid freshman and mercenary veterans who have only played with each other a short time. The fear in pro sports that only teams with high payrolls would ever win never came true. It won't come true in college basketball either. Too many teams, too few roster spots, coaches recruiting to rankings instead of to a winning system. CBB has had the UKs and Dukes building All American teams year after year but how many titles did they win? How many final fours? Sure they had some but they were hardly dominant and had an egregious amount of talent compared to other teams.

In 13-14 Evens was preseason first team, Jett was 3rd team. Swope will be A10 POTY. He's the best Billikens guard since Jett.

Almost certainly was. What were they shooting at? Bullets had to go through 4 lanes of busy traffic, a busy parking lot, another 2 lanes of traffic and another parking lot to get to the field. Its possible but unlikely. Long way for stray bullets to travel in a crowded urban area. Players clearly heard lots of loud shots, again over heavy traffic, multiple buildings in the way. Seems unlikely.

Do a google earth search on the area. How were the shots fired from the KFC parking lot? 4 lanes of traffic, a huge parking lot, a Mcdonalds are all in between the KFC and the Temple Field. Hard to believe they were shot from over there unless the shooter was on the roof of the KFC.

Reports are out that Gonzaga has joined the new Pac 12. Reports are also out saying they aren't joining the new Pac 12.

Collins was cut late Friday by the Warriors. Golden St cut Collins, Javan Johnson, and Donta Scott. They also signed Blake Hinson, who was previously one of the 2 way players that Jordan Goodwin was set to compete with on the Lakers. Collins will not be joining the Warriors training camp. Another interesting wrinkle to these contracts the NBA now allows for the G League bonuses to be negotiated. While a player can earn a bonus of 78k, many players have been forced to negotiate a smaller amount. A G league role player like Yuri may not be able to get that whole bonus. His teammate Scott has been confirmed that he is only getting a 50k bonus.

The Lakers released Blake Hinson today, one of their 2 way deal players. They have signed Christian Koloko to replace him. Koloko was a 2nd round pick in 22 who put up good per minute numbers for the Raptors his first season. He was sidelined with a serious blood clot issue last year but has been given the go ahead to play again. The Lakers plan to use him in their big man rotation to start the season until Christian Wood comes back.

The Warriors are rounding out their Training Camp roster. Collins is the 19th player signed to the team. He will most likely have an exhibit 10 deal associated with this move so he will get a bonus if he stays with their G League squad. Good chance for Collins to get some run in training camp and pre season and get a nice payday for a couple weeks.

I believe he assumed since the Billikens also host games on Bally's that they would be leaving the network as well. Not sure where our games will be aired.

Tony Irons just took over as Head Coach there. Not sure who is on the roster but there will be lots of area talent.

I won't watch these, not because I don't like Chris May (True) but because he's not any good at this stuff. There are probably dozens of SLU students who would love the experience of hosting this who would do a much better job.
