I hope Brad is Rusty Wallace. I want the arena. I'll never see the coach's offices nor will recruits on visits. I'd say do the arena ether way. I would hope it is done in a way that will make recruiting easier for Brad.

I still think we should put the arena on the land currently occupied by the soccer stadium.

There were some who were upset that there is no "practice floor" inside the new building in addition to the game floor. I'd like to see the plan for the building as much as anyone but as someone without the means to make a large donation, I'll be content to wait, without nitpicking every phrase from the school for hidden meanings and inconsistancies.

The "sound system" in West Pine is just that. All sorts of uninteligable sounds come out of it. Human speech hasn't been among them since the Cleveland administration.

Hermann seems far too complete a soccer stadium in my book. As to athletic department budgets, I've no idea where we rank. Probably low given we don't have a football team. I'd guess that you haven't done the research, adjusted for football or not, comparing us to every team in the MVC. If you have I'll apologise......

I'm with Cheese. The only malaise here is self induced. Whatever happened to no news is good news? We've got the most exciting recruits coming in since Brad has been here. The arena is going to happen (not just a Roy Mueller pipe dream.) I'm confident Brad will find power forward worthy of the name in the form of Obi or a big to be named later. To obsess over things that you have no control of is an illness. During the Biondi years, and using the rest of the campus as an example, can you point to an example of a half-a$$ed building project? I can't, though I admit I'm not an expert. Looking at Herman Stadium as an example, I have to believe that the arena will be a palace.

Last year, how many games did we lose with the ability to tie or win on the last posession?

Guy does bush league BS like making fun of names or kids playing at half time. I'd cheer if they gave the job to Phillip Hunt, or anyone else who knows the game, knows the Billiken players, and knows when the heck to shut up. Guy knows none of the above.

Guy's wit is bush league. His "celebrity" is also bush league. GIVE THE JOB TO SOMEONE IN THE MASS COMM DEPT WHO CAN PUT TWO WORDS TOGETHER WITHOUT STUTTERING. GET PHILIP HUNT. GET SKIP. We don't need a big name. We need someone who isn't a goof.

Trust me. There are better looking slightly chunky blondes everywhere. Many of them can act as well. At least that's been my experience.........
