Schasz
I don't know if this is being shown in St. Louis but early going we don't seem to have anything going on offense...11-4 Dayton with 11 and change. Reggie shut out so far.
Quality Is Job 1
According to Bob Ramsey, Brad was complaining to the baseline official about moving screens and the far-side official called the T. SLU trails 15-9, and Reggie Bryant just came out of the game after a collision.
Quality Is Job 1
Somewhere under six minutes to go. Reggie Bryant has returned to the game and is shooting free throws.

Schasz
Thicks, Are you watching on the tube? I am listening to the Dayton broadcast and it must be on tape delay because you had Sloan hitting both throws before the dudes from Dayton had him making the first one. Sounds like out defense if frustrating Dayton and we are outrebounding them too. I would like to see Reggie get hot.
Quality Is Job 1
Unfortunately, the technical on Brian Gregory wiped out a three by Chris Sloan.
Schasz
Dayton just stole ball and took the lead.
Quality Is Job 1
I think internet broadcasts tend to be as much as 30 seconds behind real time. 37 seconds left, TO Dayton. Ross Varner hit a three to give SLU 19-17 lead.
bart
Thicks: Thanks a million man. I'm having a tall cold one on the florida sands in your honor. I hope my laptop battery holds out.

Schasz
Commenting how ugly the 1st half has been. Ross just made a 3 and we lead 19-17.
thetorch
Varner hit a 3. Dayton hit a runner with 7 seconds left. Fish brought it down and took a hurried shot and missed. It is all tied up at the half.

Schasz
Wow! I did not realize there would be that much difference and the home team is the slow one in this case.
Quality Is Job 1
Bob Ramsey cracked me up, doing play-by-play of some of the Dayton halftime enterainment. Apparently some woman was balancing herself on a unicycle with one foot while balancing bowls on the other foot and balancing and flipping bowls on her head. Now he's seen it all. Usually neither the t.v. broadcasts nor the radio broadcasts provide any reference to the halftime entertainment. Regarding the game, Bob and Earl pointed out that the Bills held Dayton to 30 percent shooting.
Schasz
I have the URI crud probably flu and feel awful. Our Bills will make me feel a little better with a win tonight and this game is there for the taking. I hope we can shake Reggie for some good looks and some baskets. Quality Is Job 1
Rebounds tied at 17. Billikens committed 10 first-half turnovers, and Dayton committed 9. Jones leads Dayton with 7 points; Chris Sloan leads SLU with six.

Quality Is Job 1
The Bills have committed a couple of turnovers (one with two teammates fighting over a defensive rebound and traveling) and missed some close-in shots.
Tonka
I'm sure glad I am not watching this game. I'd probably be punching everything in sight. It's a little easier to listen to on the internet and not have to see it. It sounds really ugly though. 25 minutes into the game and we have 21 points???? Thankfully they only have 24 points!!!!! We have got to find ways to score. Defense will only hold some teams only so long! Let's get a damn win tonight! Please!!!!!!!!!
Schasz
The Dayton guys are saying Dayton 2 of 7 and SLU 1 of 7. Good thing we aren't playing Belmont tonight.
Tonka
We have to frickin win this game tonight. Losing the last game of the year would suck!!! We don't need anything negative carrying over to a brand new year!!!!
Quality Is Job 1
Sloan put back a missed Fish three against a Dayton zone to pull the Bills within one. Tom Frericks just picked up his third foul.
