alameda bob
nice answers, he sounds like a great kid. He should have plugged his favorite Greek restaurants, anybody know what they are? It would be great if he could get some Euro-teammates to look at SLU. I always thought the Hill in SL was close to a Euro atmosphere back when I lived there. bluecrewfinance
Shennanigans! I wrote an IV article in the UNews before Timmerman got to him!
StlMel
When he did Hit and Run with Frank C, he said his favorite Greek restaurant was Olympia Kebob House.
slufanskip
As noted on here in many resteraunt discussions Olympia House is one of my favorite resteraunts in Stl. I lived on Crete for 8 weeks. The food is pretty authentic as is the service slow and indifferent. Even with the service ... I love the food. Official Billikens.com sponsor of H. Billikenbooster
Rice pudding there is the closest to my mother's recipe, Catherine Eliopoulos, that I have ever had this side of NJ. mhg
Schasz
Ian should come here as Tarpon Springs is a Greek village very close to Palm Harbor. They have many authentic Greek Restaurants. My family is partial to Hellas because of their outstanding Greek pastries.
bonwich
The long-time cook at Olympia opened Colossus near Jamieson and 44. Light on decor, but heavy on atmosphere -- as in the family yells at each other at least twice during the course of a meal. And the food's darn good, too. Rice pudding? Try Michael's on Manchester west of McCausland.

Billikenbooster
can't stand how the maitre` d (sp) there always has a cigarette in his hand as he walks around the place. Agree the food is good, though. mhg
