Cowboy
I wasn't there last night, seems if Ian's minutes were a bit low. Any light on this would be appreciated.
Billiken Rich
Brad mentioned post game that he didn't want Ian to get too wornout. He also had a twinge in his knee from earlier in practice. Nothing major. Also wanted to get Bryce some minuts.

SLUAvtr
Agreed, you can tell Brad took him out to save him for the regular season. I personally like the fact he did, shows he has confidence in everyone else that they can get it done too. (I know, I know, it was preseason and UMSL, but still) I just love the look and direction this team seems to be going. Best team I've seen in the 6 years I've been watching them, maybe the 2000 NCAA was better, but to me, not by much.
billiken_roy
i think if i was brad, ian wouldnt have even played the second half. what was there to gain except an injury. the umsl squad wasnt equipped to even come close to giving ian a workout. plus, give husak as much opportunity to play as possible. because i guarantee you ian foul trouble will equate to the majority of our losses this season unless someone steps up to be a viable backup. and i aint talking 5-6 minutes. bryce accidentally will get 3 blocks a game if he plays a lot. i swear he has to be bigger than 7 foot tall. while i aint ready to proclaim him ready by a longshot, the thought of his height and wingspan in the game is one that brings hope. he has improved. he just needs to continue. SLUDrew
When I left the game I flipped on 590 to listen to the postgame and Rammer was sayiing he has an arthritic type condition that shouldn't really affect his play this year, but Brad doesn't want to take any chances during the preseason.
