I have been watching the bench a lot over the last couple of games at our assistants. It is interesting their roles in game:

It seems that Gaetano sits in the first chair and looks to be primarily involved with the defense which is what he was known for when he came from Merrimack.

Boisvert seems to be involved in the huddles and I know he's kind of the offensive guru with Schertz.

Gray looks like he sits closest to the players and appears to be the players assistant coach and hype guy.

Really not sure what any of the others are doing at least in game. Just thought it was an interesting change from the Ford years where it was clear there were coaches in charge of particular games as they were always in that first seat.

If you want to recruit StL then you know what Tate does.  There are so many coaches now who knows what they all do during the week

I actually am totally fine with Tate on staff. The St. Louis area always has talent, may as well have the proclaimed "Mayor of St. Louis" on staff. The university gave Schertz the resources to have oodles of assistants, if they're fine with one of those spots being just for local recruiting who are we to say no?

I know, but you mentioned all the other roles of the coaches, leaving off Tate just seemed kinda funny, haha.
