Pistol Posted February 12 Share Posted February 12 Also promising about that 2-0 start is that freshman Lily Strand got a save in the first game and pitched a 2-hit shutout in the second. She's looking like a viable replacement for Chloe Wendling. The whole 3-game series at Louisiana Tech was washed out by rainstorms. Doesn't look like they're going to reschedule it, either. Game stopped for about 2-3 minutes due to someone on the tennis courts intentionally sending tennis balls onto the softball field. Two pitches later the game is suspended for rain.
