cheeseman Posted January 12, 2014 Share Posted January 12, 2014 By an large a good effort - I really do not mind if JM forgets about his offense and concentrates on defense - blocking shots, getting rebounds, and bottling up the paint. RL had a great defensive game even though he fouled out - he blocked several shots and one was called a foul and even the announcers said that it was clearly a good block. DE played smart and had 22 pts and 9 rebounds - typical DE effort. MC played 15 minutes - one more than JM and really did a decent job even though he should not have forced that lay up - one thing that bothers me the last couple of games is our players forcing a marginal fast break and coming up empty - take in if you know you can score - if not bring it back out. Better to do that then loose the ball and get nothing out of what started as a good defensive effort by either you or somebody else. JB had 2 3ptrs - shot 100% and they were nice shots. He blocks out well but today was not his best rebounding effort. MM - just does not seem all that interested in scoring anymore - why? AM - overall good game, JJ - same.
