Box and Won
Do you think Hamilton Jewelers will ever sponsor this promotion again? I'm not sure that the winner could possibly have been any less enthusiastic about winning the prize!
thetorch
I am not sure if the ceremony they had could have been more stupid or boring. The diamond ring contest was a nice idea but as usual at SLU no one comes through in the end. I was thoroughly underwhelmed by the entire process. tseugnekillib
Just imagine if one of the young ladies in the Blue Crew had won the ring. It could have been a completely different event. Unfortunately, today's winner was a real dud, personality wise!
Billiken Law
I can tell you that my fiancee and her girlfriends at the game who all had boxes would have been estatic as hell to have won.
TheA_Bomb
From what I heard the blame belongs firmly on the winners "I'm not going to hurry for anyone's attitude" than on the promotion itself. I heard there was a time limit to reach the floor did it run out? If so they should have said "sorry" and went on to the next person. DeSmetBilliken
The time did run out on the first winner they drew, so they drew a second number, who was the one who didn't look excited.
Quickdraw
I was at the game; I saw them draw the winning number; and from that point I didn't even follow what happened. Somehow the whole thing fizzled--I didn't see who won at all. Maybe I found something interesting to do, like watch our coaching staff interact with the players during the time-out.
