saluki762
I really know nothing about Lusk as a recruiter. I was calling that blindly. I am still amazed at Lowery ability to recruit after only 3 years. If Lusk does mmuch recruiting for Painter then I guess he is pretty good. Purdue's class for next year is tough. Nate Latsch
>it is my understanding lusk is a relentless recruiter. i >have seen lusk at a lot of games that's for sure. I'll second that. I've seen Lusk several times in the St. Louis area this season. - Nate
AGB91
If Lowery leaves what about Quonzo Martin as the new coach?
Clock_Tower
Interesting that a guy like Lowery would have an inkling of interest in coaching SLU in the A-10. Burwell, where are you?

VTIME
What about Brad Korn. He's a former player who graduated recently, has been an assistant for a couple year. Saw him at the McCluer North vs Webster Groves game. He might be Lowery's top recruiter.
basketballcountry
ROTFLMAO You guys need to get a life, but keep dreaming. Hear Ron Acker or whatever is available for your eh college But from hearing other basketball coaches who St. Louie have "went after" they all laugh at st louis uie package.. Heard different colleges (even jr college and division 2)coaches mocking that they think your big time u has finally given the head coach his own parking spot though. And of course there is your other problem that will never go away..... who wants to live in St.Louis???????
AJ
The latest talk out of Iowa City is that Bruce Pearl would be the dream coach. Former Iowa assistant with a great personality who was the chief recruiter for Tom Davis. No idea if Pearl is interested; I am not quite sure why he would leave Tennessee, but I understand why Iowa would be interested. Lowery is mentioned in the article but is written off as too young. What a crock of CR+P this is. You could only wish in your dreams. Hey, I heard, and from a reliable source, the Bill Self is interested in coaching at SLU because he thinks it would be an easy job. Sheltiedave
Pearl was fired at Iowa for cause. His contract was not renewed is the polite way of saying what happened.

Clock_Tower Lowery would never, ever be interested in a SLU job and the A10. Might as well coach at Eastern Illinois and be in the OVC.
