VTIME
congrats to Terrence Williams, Joe Allaria, and Robbie Rudy on fine seasons. Lucas Orear and his Nashville team advanced. So far they are the only area team to advance in the Ill. playoffs today. The Alton-Quincy score hasnt been posted yet.
VTIME
Althoff is still alive and I think that's it for the East side teams except for maybe O'Fallon and Kenny Leverette. Lacey scores 17 in final high school game.
crymdg2
Althoff will play either O'Fallon or Carbondale on Friday I think it is. Looks like Althoff is the George Mason of this year's playoff. They are 14-12 now I believe. Maybe gmerts can provide a little more information as to how the game went?
courtside
O'Fallon plays Carbondale tomorrow night. Most of the upstate games went as expected. One noticeable exception....Loyola Academy loses to neighborhood rival New Trier. Not an expected early exit for them.
Bay Area Billiken
Quincy High beat Alton 58-48.
gmerts
A newspaper reporter said that Mascoutah went scoreless for 11 straight minutes, including getting shut out the entire thrid quarter. That was where the game was won/lost.
BigJ20
I sure hope Quincy can keep this up on Friday when they face Lewis Jackson and Decatur Eisenhower. Lewis Jackson is one heck of a guard as I was in Springfield tonight to watch both the Eisenhower vs. Edwardsville and Quincy vs. Alton game. He seemed like he could get to the basket anytime he wanted against Edwardsville tonight.
billiken_roy
altoff has a 6'8" sophomore, will lawson, that has a lot of potential. not a skinny kid and has soft hands and plays the post fundamentally. he bears watching and i hope coach soderberg is keeping his foot in the door. VTIME
What did you think of Terrance Williams of E'ville? They showed his dunk on the highlights last night.
