-if this is "revenue sharing" does it only go to (intentionally did not include student) athletes in revenue producing sports? -does it have to be allocated equally? ie does the bball player and the cross country runner get the same amount? not picking on CC, just an example

-this is our 20th season in the A10 and four times we have started 2-0, seven times we have started 1-1 and eight times we have started 0-2 -in each of the 2-0 starts to date there was post season play, CBI runner up, 2 NCAA's and NIT in 21-22

-resulting in my interest in the sport in general and the Tourney in particular waning

-my recollection is at the start of the year we had a lot more, way way more, movement on the offensive end, now too often it is one guy moving or no one but Swope moving while he dribbles -remember when CJS talked about the points per possession based on when in the shot clock the shots are taken? earlier in the clock has a higher ppp, we are not doing that, either

-KenPom has us winning by 4, we are 157 in his ranking and Wofford is 152 - we are the last team with a postive KenPom rating at a burly +0.14 - for reference SVU is +19.09 and as of today projected to beat us by 9pts on Jan 31 and by 16pts on March 4 -just for fun - Grand Canyon is 96, SVU is 31, VCU is 42. Bonnie is 75, Mason is 82, Rhodey is 91, Loyola is 93, StJ is 105, Davidson is 115, GWash is 144. LaSalle is 151. FU is 190. UMass is 202, Duq is 203 and the Fire Chris Mooney bunch is 209 -A10 is 8th rated conf behind SEC, 10, 12, BEast, ACC, Mtn West and WCC

-Wiz, do you have last season's final grades on defense for Ind St?

-thanks, I hope he can keep players to get us to corporate knowledge -we have a term on this Board of "hero ball", originated with our last coach and his offense of often running the weave and having our smallish PG try to create a shot at the end of the shot clock, did you have many instances of that last season with Swope? I would guess not but checking as I see it too often but in part that comes from lack of corporate knowledge especially with Robbie having been hurt twice

-we didn't foul a 3pt shooter, so good on that, 11 turnovers could be better, the zone was pretty effective but we have to figure out our man to man -CJS on postgame discussed how last season if Swope was having a bad game he could just pull him but he doesn't have the players to do that now and Swope has get out of the funk and play better -he also said Max gave good minutes and will likely see more minutes, I hope so given our ranks are so thin -Chi St stayed in the game for a long time, the T on the coach was uncalled for imo, the refs were not getting it right and he called them on it, I didn't hear him cuss -CJS expects we will be better on Sunday, I hope so -Casey was walking awkwardly, he must have done a job on his ankle

-21 turnovers, down from 24 in the prior game

-I've seen McCottry with a brace or something that he messes with in prior games so it is possible this is not new -after the game CJS didn't bemoan the FT%, that was interesting -JState defended and played hard and had a very good shooting night against us, teams having very good shooting nights against us won't work and neither will letting teams have wide open looks from 3, our defense was scrambling so much it was dizzying -I don't believe we fouled a 3pt shooter (no need to mention when our 3pt shooter got fouled all 3 were missed) -BAB, work a miracle out there

-the computer makes guesses? this has to be a typo from a late night

-I have not been to an A10 tourney or conf road game, for those that have are the showing of replays at those venues as milquetoast as what SLU does? I recall one game a few years ago where a couple controversial calls were replayed, it was great, but typically we get no replays of questionnable calls and my question is does that come from the A10 or SLU? Having attended games in other venues I have seen questionnable calls on the video boards -of course, from watching on tv I would not be surprised if some of the A10 buildings don't have video screens

-Q returns either 3 or 4 starters from last year's team that won their league regular season and has the pre-season POY who as of this writing has their knees intact, one of these players changed their last name during the off-season -they have a lot of roster continuity
