I bet there'll be 8-9K in attendance. Hopefully no late arrivals as there's not much of an excuse for being late to an 8pm tip, but it happened at a 1pm saturday game so I can't expect too much.

Pretty wild that Loyola isn't leading the Mo Valley (I get that it's just due to one last game at the moment). It's wild because I absorb a lot of basketball media, and follow it more than I should, but no one seems to be talking about UNI/I had no idea they were in first. All the convo/coverage is loyola, which, again, I get that's not shocking given recent success. One would think that the top team in a conference would get some love (Davidson, Boise, etc.).

It’s Yuri.

Yuri's been keeping his dribble going these past few games. He still attacks but when nothing is there he's able to dribble it out. He's been the most fun point guard I have watched in a long time. I hope it continues throughout the rest of the season. If so, we may be in for something special.

For the best 1-1 comparison of benches. Bona's bench made up 9.5% of total minutes during their home game against Fordham yesterday. When we played Fordham at home, our bench made up 25.5% of minutes (no Linssen, btw). Obviously, only thing that matters is winning, but I find bench minutes/depth interesting.

Pretty hilarious - La Salle listed attendance at 1,121. No way they had 500 folks at the game.

Friday is huge. Bona seemed to get back to their style of basketball yesterday, but they still rode their 5 guys while blowing out an inferior opponent at home. We need to run them out of the gym. I think our two-headed monster of Linssen and Okoro will be the difference maker.

1 question 1 observation: 1) what was the situation the announcer apologized about to start? Some commentator said something offensive it seems. 2) the play by play has no idea who our players are.

It is interesting, though. I know teams (as slu did this week and as reported) switch up balls in practice to prepare for what they’ll use in the game. Just a fun little nuance to the game, but I don’t think should be a worry.

I love this team. Full stop. I’m a little bummed/peeved that grant had to change the narrative of the game, but I hope we meet them in the A-10 title game. That would be an all-timer.
