I get people like to throw around the "hero ball" tag ...but Ford isn't running any sets to create easy buckets and there are players that are not great at attacking off the dribble....unless it's a wide open lane. That leads to bad shot selection.

The Wizards made it the playoffs last time Russ played for them. And that was with a roster worse than their current one. Russ also averaged a triple double that playoff series.

I think they have chosen to play small vs playing positionless ball. To me positionless ball would be having two 6'6-6'7 forwards who have guard skills and can create for themselves and others along with a Center who can shoot with handles. A combo guard and a PF would have greatly helped this team this year.

Don't forget the market that is about to open up for players entering the Free Agency after being bought out.

Depends on if they keep Nunn. Nunn might have been included just to make the deal go through in terms of salaries. He's on an expiring deal. They could buy him out and sign Goodwin to a minimum deal. Goodwin would be the cheaper alternative.
