Well 6 year old me at the Savvis Center is just waiting for cotton candy and wondering what the hell a top 10 even is. -

First three in how long?? And after the whistle... haha. You could hear the crowd's sarcasm too! We're just romping 'em now. Win by 22. -

AM just got his dignity sent all the way back to St. Louis. Ouch. -
Fixed those issues and a couple other ones that I came across. Thanks guys, I'm looking to post another today previewing the Philly trip and/or the rest of conference.
-
Damn! All the proof reading and we couldn't catch that. I don't know where I got the two extra wins from hah but when I get home I hope to be able to fix it. Honestly, thanks for pointing that out because I HATE typos and errors.

I appreciate it, and I will do. I guess I'll just keep updating this thread with any new posts on the website.

Recently the moderator for the website archcitysports.com reached out to us on the message boards looking for a writer to cover Billiken basketball. I jumped on the opportunity and just posted my first article and I'd really appreciate you all taking the time to check it out. Let me know what you all think and please check it out frequently, I'll be posting as much as I can. It's a great website for all other St. Louis sports as well, so I hope you all like it. Now let's get that 15th in a row tomorrow eh? http://archcitysports.com/rise-of-the-billikens/

He was just too thoroughly embarrassed by the thrashing they suffered at the Fetz. He's a sore loser and he decided to take it to the next level.
-
Close, but I don't think either of us would have predicted 13th!! That's crazy; definitely a pleasant surprise between classes this morning.

Feels great to be a Billiken fan these days! Not that I'm a fair-weather fan because I sport my colors loud and proud no matter if we're top 25 or bottom 25, but it's great to be a competitive program again, and especially being better than Mizzou for the third year in a row. This type of performance and success is what will keep our program afloat for years to come; it makes recruiting easier, it makes marketing and broadcasting easier, and it simply makes being a fan easier. I love every bit of it and I CAN NOT WAIT until Wednesday, when we win our 15th in a row. End of the week, 8th in the nation, 22-2 and 9-0 in conference and on the road. And hell yeah, I can't wait to be there cheering 'em on.

How is this relevant to the thread?
-
i think 15th is reasonable, but I also wouldn't be surprised if we don't get there this week because of the damn voters. However, if we stay undefeated through the end of this week, I could very well see us as a top ten team. Yes? No?

It was my aunt's wedding, but the last time an aunt got married I skipped to go watch the Billies in San Jose. Couldn't skip two in a row...

Are we now officially the cardiac BILLIKENS?
Bills By 40 replied to Billikenswin's topic in Billikens.com Main Board
It was a tough one, but I'd like to give GMU a little more credit. There's no way that the entire game they rode out on luck. A lot of their shots, yes, lucky. Also, you can't blame the officials for everything (no matter how God awful they were) and you have to give credit where credit is due. GM earned a little respect from this Billiken fan today. -
Despite the huge deficit in in rebounding, and for most of the game the deficit in points... we pulled that one out. I only caught overtime on television, but I listened to the second half while I was driving home from a wedding and from what I could gather we were not playing like ourselves. Although win is a win, will this one be enough to push us up as high in the rankings as we were hoping for after Wednesday? Over/under 16th?
-
I would like to second that.
-
Even when they do we still have scoring threats in AM and RL, especially if they're hitting their shots! And with how versatile we are, when everybody is playing their A game, we're unbeatable.
-
In comparison to his play for the majority of the season up until lately, his numbers look mediocre right now. Am I saying he's a bad player? That he's lost his game? Of course not; that's ludicrous. But I had come to expect so much out of him after the first number of games when he was dominating.

Blowout win against GM Saturday and we move up to 17th. Thoughts?
-
Bills by 31. The price is wrong, *****.

Rephrase: we made it look damn easy.

Agreed! He may have recorded a nice double double, but he still didn't play like I would've expected. If you told me the final score of the game and asked me to guess DE's stat line, it would've been a lot nicer than in reality. On the bright side, it's nice to see big roles played by people like JJ AM and even MM chimed in a couple times last night. We're gonna need that if DE's gonna stay stuck in this stage of mediocrity.
