I was in this camp last year, but I think I’m out for 2023-24. Last year should have been make or break for Ford. It wasn’t, and now we’re going to be even worse (not because of the schedule, but because of our non-existent bigs). It’s going to be a wasted season, unless May has already decided Ford will be back for 2024-25? Which, yea maybe. I’m pretty chill about it though and would love to praise some wins. It’s nice to have zero expectations vs. setting myself up for our annual flop/situation/Covid/etc.

Also have zero expectations for any of the incoming FR. Total wild cards and seemingly a lock more will transfer out than graduate, esp. given Ford’s history with overseas players. You lose the MLE, can't sign buyouts, there are limits on trades, etc. JG has a $2M team option for ‘24-25, which is I think when those things kick in, and if he can play 20 mpg he becomes pretty valuable to them. It’s an awesome spot for him to defend, rebound, and do a bunch of dirty work in a ton of nationally televised games. Monster upgrade
