This is what has been bugging me. I guess no one wants to be our springboard, and we look to much like an 800lb gorilla? I can see where Richmond, a great team, looks easier than us, because we will dominate the boards and they will lose them by 5-10. It makes me feel like the only competition who would accept us is the top 5, and I would love to see that matchup, but we just can’t get it scheduled.

That is a good point, but I thought everyone’s schedule was blown up and we all had to start from scratch. I thought the MTE was our original schedule. I was assuming that all A10 teams had to find new opponents about 1 month before the season, and found ranked teams. It was just us?

Maybe someone can explain to me why it seems that everyone else in the A10 can schedule a ranked team, but we cannot this year. I can think of some reasons, but it still doesn’t really make sense.

I liked playing MSU every year. Until Cuonzo killed it. Obviously, a different level of competition from Louisville or Cinncinatti, but is it so different from MU...

On a more serious note, he is not on the hot seat, but if his team finishes well below .500, and if it looks like they do not have the players or culture to change it next year, that will change quickly.

It was talked about constantly during his tenure. A lot of the 1-and-dones were actually aware that they were at SLU for 1 year. Some of the people you mentioned, left because of a scandal. Some people just transferred.

I have never seen this before. Thank you. It is so comical to think that each of these individuals have a spreadsheet, marking out their favorite teams, and that makes up a large portion of who eventually gets noticed and put into the dance or other playoff. Maybe we should stop giving bags of cash just to the players, and maybe give one to Dick Vitale?

Not sure if this was stated in this thread yet. I caught 5 minutes of the KSU v Colorado game. Davion Bradford was in and was the best KSU player. He looks awesome. I thought KSU would win. Instead, they lost by 20. I looked at the box score and Bradford played 8 minutes. if KSU players Weber out of Manhattan, I would love Bradford as a transfer.

Right. I agree. When I watch Goodwin now, I am in awe. He really doesn’t do anything that seems impressive and, yet, every time, there is a double double. He takes anyone guarding him to the basket. Just a statistical freak. He is a black hole that everyone has to account for. Similar to French, who is also a freak. Collins is a freak. Let’s just take a moment to appreciate how good this team is, and how far they can go, if they stay true to who they are.

Ford is surprisingly honest. I would be a little concerned he won’t be there. That said... .has anyone considered that Perkins and Gibson might be the best two player shooting combo in the country? Both are really just kind of magical. Right? Like they live in a shooting flow. Couple that to whatever Goodwin is. The rest of the team isn’t exactly chopped liver. I am not really worried, this team is going to be difficult for anyone.

To an 18-22 year old kid, Bandana’s seems like heaven. Hard to imagine that age is the time of your life?
