Goodwin had a good year, not the year I was hoping for but it was good. Of course he has a lot to work on. 95% of college sophomores have a lot to work on. I’m expecting a huge jump next year. It has always seemed to me that players show the most improvement between sophomore and Junior years.

Well that was a bummer. Bess and Goodwin are both having a hard time putting the ball in the hole recently. I wonder if Goodwin is gimpy too? No Field goals from the bench. You can’t win like that. I did not know it was Al Fisher. I know who holds the record now and I know it’s not a Billiken. I can understand why some people thought the St. Joe’s shot was kind of a dick move but I think this was a unique situation. Like Isabell said on the radio “there is a big difference between 39 and 40” These “unwritten rules” are ridiculous. They are always left up to interpretation and most of the time there is a gray area involved. Plus which unwritten rules do you follow? Play hard until the final whistle or stop trying to score when the game is all but over?

Just finished the Crawford interview. Great listen. Thanks. The interviews are great. Ever think about getting any of the old timers? Erwin Clagget, Rich Grawer, Monroe Douglas something along that line. I know it would be a long shot but H Waldman would be great. I bet he has some serious stories from his UNLV days. Tark, Larry Johnson, Stacy Augmon, Greg Anthony, Isiah Rider those teams were stacked and had huge personalities.

I would say yes. but I have zero expectations for Freshman. Even the highly touted ones I don’t expect much more then spot minutes and role players.
