  1. Interesting article from 2012 when he was a sophomore: "Milik Yarbrough is the No. 8 nationally-ranked small forward in the Class of 2014 by ESPN Recruiting. He’s considered among the top five prospects in the state." http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/high-school/tag/_/name/milik-yarbrough
  2. I will never understand why this team does not show up until the end of the game. Great win. Not sure how that happened. Let's all enjoy it and worry about Louisville another day.
  3. I respect everything JC has done, but this team needed Rick.
  4. Where is the heart and fire in this team?? To win: Defend. Rebound. We are doing none of these. God Bless Rick, but the sons on majerus are look more like the sons of anarchy...
  5. A win is a win is a win. The cardiac Billikens keep stacking them up. Keep it going.
  6. Road wins are what gets you conference titles homie. Maybe if you guys pick up a couple the game in Richmond will be more than a dress rehearsal for Brooklyn.
  7. A10 regular season and conf tourney champs, First time to 28 wins, highest seed in program history in NCAA tourney, back to back seasons with wins in NCAA tourney, all great things to be proud of. Yet I can't help but be utterly disappointed in the way this season turned out. This team should have made the second weekend. Great season, but hard to get the dirty penny taste out of my mouth right now.
  8. It's early to speculate, but what else is there to do after a gut punch like we just got. I don't think Crews wants the job. Howland is neither the answer, nor would he want the job. I don't know if they need a big name, or if there is one available who would be a good fit. This team is returning most of its players and continuity and recruiting are probably most important things for the offseason and next year. Is there any chance Chris Harriman would come back?
  9. Agreed. Definitely take the 4/5 as it's much cheaper and a cab will probably take the same amount of time to get there.
  10. Cab would be the quickest way to get from LGA to your hotel. Depending on where your hotel is in Midtown, I'd say best case scenario landing at LGA at 10:35 would get you to Midtown by 11:15, and that's if you don't check bags, no cab line and relatively no traffic. From Midtown to Barclays center is 20-30 min by subway. Take the 2/3, 4/5, B/D, or N/R/Q to Atlantic Ave/Barclays Center. Which line you take depends on where your hotel is. So getting to Barclays Center by noon is possible, but 12:30 is more likely.
  11. Come on..this is mizzery were talking about! Aren't we guaranteed a bid?
  12. C'mon guys...mizzery is a decent team...they beat bucknell.
  13. The respect the polls give mizzery always amazes me. It's almost as if they have a coach who just leaves duffel bags full of cash everywhere he goes.....
  14. which is why I said "I know it'll never happen". and I was referring to basketball only. Half the teams are in different football conferences anyway.(Umass, Rhody,Richmond, Nova in CAA, Temple in MAC, G'town, Fordham in Patriot, Dayton in Pioneer,ND independent, Duquesne in MAAC).
  15. I know it will never happen, but here's a pipe dream for conference realignment. Every team in a conference should make it's tournament, if there are more than 12 teams then the conference is too big. The Big East and the A10 make sense to split into three conferences based on numbers, geography and current and future rivalries. Here's what I came up with: Conference 1 Xavier Saint Louis Dayton DePaul Cincinnati Marquette Notre Dame Louisville Conference 2 Georgetown Connecticut Villanova Syracuse Providence St. John's Massachusetts Seton Hall Rutgers George Washington Rhode Island Fordham Conference 3 West Virginia Pittsburgh La Salle Richmond Saint Joseph's Temple Duquesne St. Bonaventure Charlotte USF Conference 1 would be a great basketball conference, makes sense geographically and somewhat reconstructs the old Great Midwest/Conf USA. Conference 2 has the core Big East teams and the others fit geographically. All Big East rivalries remain intact. Conference 3 has 1 school that stands out in USF, but maintans a core of philly and pittsburgh schools. I also considered bringing in Memphis to Conference 1 and finding a better home for USF and Charlotte.
  16. Blue Crew was not founded in 2001. I was a member in 1994. There is a picture of us hanging in Humphrey's on the wall across from the bar when you first walk in(on the left). It has a brown frame. It may have died out after I left school and started back up in 2001, but it was around when I was there.
