Reneged multiple times? According to who, the media or the SLU Coaching staff? The kid just turned 22 this year. He stuck it out for 4 years with Memphis. If he commits to SLU, I'll be supportive of him until he proves me wrong. I remember when I was just 22 and a senior at SLU. Decisions came hard sometimes. And sometimes I changed my mind ..... like that gal I thought I wanted to marry. But changed my mind. Young people do that. So Malcolm, if you choose SLU, this fan will give you the benefit of the doubt ..... and welcome you. Decisions can be hard to make for a young person just entering adulthood.

Actually ..... "In the NCAA Division 1 men’s basketball, each of the 353 teams may field 16".
-
But if he chooses the SLU Billikens ....... the question is ..... is he still a tool?
-
He can do it if he improves his 3 point shot and raises his minutes played from 19 to 30 a game. But yes, 8 to 10 points a game is my bet because he will not get 30 minutes on the floor, as his position and size will not allow that much time played each game.

Really? "Ford now deserves all the coldness for letting it get like this". IMO Ford bears near zero blame for letting it "get like this". I think the blame goes to this crazy new NIL system that the courts have allowed. I don't have issue with players "earning" money for their "NIL" But I don't see very many players truly using their "Name, Image & Likeness" to legitimately make endorsement dollars. Dandridge will have near zero demand for endorsements in the St. Louis Market. So how does he garner so much NIL attention? It's the highest bidder wins. Seems like college sports are now a very slimy, dirty business. I don't blame Ford one bit for this drama. He can get in the "slim" with the big moneyed Power 5 guys for players like Dandrige who seem to be playing one school against another for the biggest payday he can get, or he can walk away. Either way, Ford is not getting my "coldness" .....

Yes, odd that there's nothing out there on Bradford's destination. By the way, he is transferring from Wake Forest.

For me, I'm okay with Ezewiro (assuming he qualifies), Magassa, Zhang, van Bussel, and Sotirov going into the season. Got plenty of fouls to give with our Bigs and should be oh so interesting. Got the feeling Dandridge could be a "cancer" .... maybe better without a "me, me, me" player.

Interesting comment on WV Board ...... https://247sports.com/college/west-virginia/board/103746/Contents/wvu-is-in-contact-with-memphis-transfer-malcolm-dandridge-212476454/ "As a Memphis fan I have watched Malcom for 4 years now. He is oozing with talent but suffers from his low bball IQ and poor motor. Former Memphis asst Cody Toppert talked about how lazy he was as a player. That being said I really hope a new situation would be good for Malcom. Some games he can look like the best player on the floor and other games you can’t stand him being in the game. If he can find some consistency and not take plays off Malcom could be a great add this late in the portal". And another comment ...... "When he was playing well Penny gave him minutes. But a lot of the time he would come in the game. Leisurely Jogs up and down the floor. Blow defensive assignments. Not box out. Turn the ball over. My best way to describe him is a bipolar player. Most Memphis fans are praying he doesn’t come back. After 4 years of the same crap everyone is sick of him. His minutes varied game to game because you could tell right away which Malco you would get".

Well maybe. Concerning that he has a bit of a reputation (according to some on the Board). A disgruntled team mate can screw up a team. Hopefully he is a team guy if SLU gets him.

Josh Eilert has been with WVU for 16 years. By all that I know, a player's coach.
-
So this link says Đorđe V. Ćurčić is the 6'5" guy. https://www.proballers.com/basketball/player/237492/djordje-v-curcic
-
So even with this new bit of information I'm still confused. Is the guy SLU got the 6'2 guy or 6'5" guy? And which one is supposed to be the better prospect?
-
Glad to see him back .... a decent player for very average teams.

LOL ..... Just hate that guy; think I'll want for a real report of the interview. -
Maybe he just wants a few trips and to be "wined and dined" ...... nothing wrong with wanting to have a good time.
-
Well, wasn't worried in early June about those last two spots ...... but dang, getting late.

Bonner's 14 Yr Old Son is Already 6'7"

OT - Bob Huggins resigns after DUI arrest
WVBilliken replied to juniorbill76's topic in Billikens.com Main Board
Thinking that is the reason he was fired from the Cincinnati job. -
Let's hope he's got a few sons that can play like Dad.

Too bad foreign players almost always don't get to campus until late summer. Could use all three frosh bigs ASAP. Any news on when any of the three will arrive?
-
Well that's interesting, I guess ..... but only if some of these guys are looking at SLU.
-
That's really dumb. You have to get players ready for "real" games.
-
So, with a covid year assume he has 2 years eligibility? HS class of 2019.
-
SLU will have a very young squad. I count 6 freshmen and sophomores, basically half the squad. One or two of these freshmen really need to compete for rotation minutes right from the start, even if the last 2 scholarships go to upper class transfers.

Suspect you nor any of the posters on this Board have a clue about the dynamics within Ford's organization/coaching staff. Just blowing smoke......
