I agree with this too. We are good at the guard position this year. This gives him another year for his shot, but also to learn the system. This is great for Femi and he will be good in a couple years.

I'm am ready this year! Just match Husaks production, BE a year under his belt, a point guard that is also a threat, starting 3 seniors which 2 are Tommie and Kevin. Have a year guys!

4 weeks from today is the 1st exhibition game and there are zero reports about the team. When does practice start? Somebody throw us a bone. Tommie T? BR? At least the roster picks are up, however, 3 players still do not have numbers.

I doubt we're an underdog at home against Kent State. They do return a good backcourt but the workhorse that killed everyone down low is gone. I would say the Bills -1. If KSU is favored in this game, I'm loadin' up.

According to the BC website, that game is a noon tip. Sounds like a TV game. Despite all the bitching about our rather unexciting schedule, it could be one that works in our favor. All though most don't want to see this, here's my optimistic take on this year. So after we beat UMSL, Kent state comes in. We owe them one big time. With a couple of their big guns gone, our seniors alone should be able to take care of this one at home. Next is BC. We actually match up well this year with their squad. Rice is their only senior with all underclassman. Stick KL on Rice the minute he steps off the plane and let Tommie go for about 30 and 10. A packed house with our first major test...a W. Nebraska is next. Any Big 12 game on the road is tough. However, if you look at the NU roster they do not return anyone who averaged in double figures and they are as young as us up front. They are guard strong and I would take KL and TL any day of the week. I'm just sayin', could be a win. The next two games before the easy slate are Detroit and SIU. Although on the road, winnable games. Sorry for the positive thoughts, but if this works out everyone will be talkin' about RM's great scheduling strategy. We have the best backcourt SLU has had in a long time. Let's get behind them and quit bitchin' about every single thing that comes up. With Tommie and Kevin, and a little big production (just match last year), this year could end up very entertaining.

Awesome. Kentucky is playing UMSL too, for an exhibition game. Playing D2 teams in the regular season sucks.

This might be a good match up for us. Checking their roster, they return 4 seniors. 2 averaging 9 points, 1 averaged 4 and the other was a manager. Their big gun is gone.
