This game has absolute blow out written all over it. URI just lost to St Joes and it damaged their bubble. Their big men are down right good and should have a field day against us. Looking forward to Roby cutting his teeth on EC Mathews...I predict another tough learning experience.

This is shaping up to be one of greatest hand-wringing threads in billikens.com history and I am proud to be a part of it. I agree with Pistol that I am in search of well-reasoned counter arguments as to why we will be better. The "it can't get any worse" argument does not hold water. The worst case scenario is that the players stop buying what the coach is selling...I think we are close to being there. Frankly, I would side with the players. The moves this coaching staff has made are beyond head-scratching.

Normally I agree with this, but they were missing wide open. Gillman missed wide open late in the 2nd half...other than that, All the bills' threes were contested or rushed at the end of the shot clock.

Let's not forget either that for some reason Dayton was missing WIDE open threes to the tune of 2/13 I believe at one time. These were not contested in the least. We were just lucky. If Dayton would have shot 30% from three we would have lost by 15-20. I've said this before but Tatum would be one special kid to come here over the sure thing.

I was fine with this being a rebuilding year and then I started watching it unfold. I think the wheels fell off at Fordham and I am no longer confident in the direction of the program. We basically need Tatum to commit to avoid Soderberg land.

It is Bronson who does the subbing. I know the buck stops at Crews, but Crews doesn't even look back or comment when Bronson is shuffling players in and out. I feel like a Jets fan...or Browns.

+1 This is my biggest problem. I have not seen any of the freshmen "grow up" throughout the season. And I do not buy into the "we play competitively every game" cop out. Our young players are not the problem. It is seriously our coaching. And if we are going to just blow it up and play for the future...fine, sounds great...but then why do we play manning/lancona at all. These guys are not the future and are honestly terrible. When RM made decisions the board did not understand it was "in RM I trust"...with Crews...none of what he is doing makes sense. If I was player I would have lost confidence in my coach by now. We have regressed as a team and as players individually...maybe MC has gotten better. We are teetering here. A new Soderberg era starts in 2017 on our current trajectory.

Frankly I am still shocked at all the optimism. I thought we showed more flashes early in the season. Aren't players supposed to get better with coaching and play at a higher level toward the end of the season. I honestly don't know what we are doing out there. But my patience ran out with the Fordham game. Our rpi is 250+ and we absolutely deserve it

Pistol, you are falling into SLU's trap. They are baiting you to set up automatic donations...then once all the social justice cheerleaders donate their money to offset the non-donors, SLU will cancel the statue and start back up the automatic donations from the old rich alums.. Diabolical....

I have gotten an uptick in the frequency of the calls from students asking for my donation. I told them I would donate when we made a final four.

Talked to him at the Wichita St Alumni Event...he didnt come out and say it, but....we aren't going anywhere.
