  1. If you read your LOI it also states very plainly that it is a 1 year agreement.
  2. I'm not advocating that system, but apparently that is the rule for D1 soccer, and it seems to work ok.
  3. Nate is correct, in fact as of September in Josh's senior season, he told me that he hadn't received a call or even a letter from SLU. This is an amazing fact since Brad had the opportunity to watch him play against Kramer 3 times in his junior season , and dominated in all 3 games.
  4. Your arrogance is amazing..Tell me is there any subject that you are not the ultimate authority on? Tell me how Western Illinois "by sticking to their guns" is helping their program? All it is doing is tarnishing their reputation. As for Josh Harrellson's feelings toward Majerus, you don't have a clue because you do not know him. I have talked to him, on numerous occassions and he has reiterated that he has immense respect for RM and would love to play for him. His passion to play for SLU is well documented, and he would be here if your boy "BS" had a clue about evaluating talent. I sincerely believe that you are deliberately going out of your way to trash Harrellson, because your initial evaluation of him was that he wasn't that good.
  5. Quit trying to make more of this than there is. RM is not directly contacting Josh about playing for SLU. He has made his thoughts know to to him through his coaches (just as many other coaches have). Josh has stated in the past to others that he thinks RM is a great coach and would love to play for the Bills someday. We'll see what happens.
  6. The more important thing is that the relationship between Majerus and Harrellson is strong.
  7. You still haven't said what he lied about??? He told them because of family issues that he would not be attending WIU, and requested his release, which they refused to do so. Where is the lie??? People changing their minds about where they want to play, is nothing new. There may be other examples of a school not releasing someone from their LOI, but I have never heard of one who did it for 2 years. Thanks Satrap, for letting Josh and his family know what you think of them.
  8. You are an A hole!!! Josh has complied with the rules. He has every right to ask WIU for his release. If they choose not to do so then he will accept the consequences. For you to call him and his family liars is blatanly unfair and low class. Tell me what they have lied about????? The fact is you can't name one thing, yet you get on this board and run your mouth and disparage people that you have no knowledge of.
  9. Your comments are repugnant...You have 0 knowledge about the Harrellson situation, yet condemn him and his familiy. There were ( and are) some very serious issues that came up with the Harrellson family, which I am not about to discuss. Circumstance happen in all our lives and we have to make adjustments when they do. WIU, is using Josh as a scapegoat for their recent basketbal failures. I hope for your sake Satrap, that when you face unforeseen problems in your life time that you will be treated with more compassion than you are willing to extend toward Josh.
  10. Harrellson originally qualified, so he is able to transfer. If any one is interested here is the e-mail address for the WIU athletic director. [email protected]
  11. Here is the part that I liked. Cotto becomes St. Louis' seventh recruit from the class of 2008, a class that we believe is shaping up to be the best in the Atlantic Ten Conference.

  13. Great pickup! When you talk about Kyle, he's a first team all-stater, I don't care what class," Pinckneyville head coach Bob Waggoner told the Belleville News Democrat after the game. "People can say that there are better (players), but there's no better all-around player than Kyle Cassity He does everything for us. "A kid that's normally that good has an ego and a personality that says, 'What about me?' He's the most unselfish kid we have, and that's what makes him so good."
  14. Jack, I'm really tired of the crap you post. Despite your insistence that Ian = Bryce, Ian is in fact a professional player, something that Bryce will never be.
  15. Roy, I agree that Ian was disappointing last season, that said, he was far better than anything BH brought to the table. The opposition always respected his ability, which opened things up for TL and KL.
  16. BH and DP a B- ?????, surely you jest. C- or D+ at best. They both ranked near the bottom of our league. I wish you were one of my professors.
  17. His first mistake will probably coincide with yours.
  18. agreed, Kevin struggled with the ball today, welcome KM.
  19. The fact is, if you are the basketball coach you need to win games or you will be fired. If you don't believe this ask Rich Grawer and Brad Soderberg. Outstanding young men with limited basketball talent will get you a quick exit.
  20. I remember hearing RM earlier in the year say that he was going to find a way to keep PE on scholarship next year. Does any one else remember hearing this?
  21. You must have ties with Brad Soderberg. Ridiculous statement.
  22. I think he ends up at Mizzou. There is talk that they will let him play both football and basketball for at least a year.
