We're 3 1/2 games out with 123 games left. It's a little early to be jumping off the ship. Our pitching has been better than expected. I think we'll be alright. Hang in there.

I was at that game, sitting right under the basket in a bleacher section of seats. It was awesome. And you're right about KMOX, I remember driving my rental car to the top of a hill in Little Rock one night to listen to the amazing comeback in 'The Pit' against New Mexico in the NIT after being down 20 at the half.

It'll be Brian Gregory. Too saw him at the baseball game. He's already hiring his assistants...

It was Roberto Escobar, a Columbian soccer player that scored an 'own goal' for the U.S. in the World Cup. (Knocked it in his own goal by accident while attempting to clear). He was shot outside a convenience store in Columbia when he returned.

His goal is not to get to the final four. His goal is to win a national championship.

They did formally recognize Billikens.com when they honored Steve at one of the games the year before last. I'll bet they read the board as much as any of us.

You could even set up our own Cardinal baseball board. That would be fun over the summer.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could play one of our exhibition games against the SkyHawks? Or just assemble a team of former Billikens to play. You could get Spoon or Grawer (or both) to coach them. That would be a lot more fun than playing Athletes in Action.

Windows? No. But how 'bout the possibility of adding an ice rink in the future so we can bring back Billiken Hockey! Now that would be cool.

Go read Dan Wetzel's column on yahoo! sports. It's pretty interesting. I look at Duke as the NY Yankees of college basketball. ...and I hate them both.

One as part of the doubleheader and two in the final four! Sweet!

We're going to kick their butts. I hate Duke. The deal should be that if we beat them, then they come back here the following year to take another beating!

For the record, I'm also a big LaRussa fan. I think he may be the best manager in baseball. He'll surely be in the Hall of Fame someday. We're lucky to have him. I just wish more people realized it.

Can the team still practice? Or do all teams have to stop practicing once they are eliminated from post-season play. The remaining teams are still practicing. I would think it could be beneficial to have as many practices with the coaching staff as possible. Except for the seniors, obviously. It would give the staff a chance to be as specific as possible about what they want each person to work on in the off season when the coaches can't watch them. Just curious.
