We're not listed in the top 40 (they have made those choices). so we will fall somewhere between 101 and 41. My guess is in the 70's. X is the only A-10 team listed in top 40 (23). SIU is 22. This means we will play at least 3 top 20s in out of conference sched.

If we don't this guy should be burned at the stake...so far so good though...let's hope we make it at least into the top 50-60....

Hopefully, 3-4 signed recruits will be there. What is projected opening season....2008-09? If so, TL and KL will at least get one year in there.

The 4 is wide open...think it's impossible right now for anyone to call a starter. Would imagine it'll be a game by game decision unless someone puts together a string of consistent games. But if any of the 4's can play, meaning LM doesn't need to play it, I see Luke as the starter at the 3 with DB off the bench. UB wants LM out there for his knowledge of the system, his defense, and his desire. Not saying DB doesn't posess all these qualities but until he demonstrates it on a consistent basis, LM's the starter at the 3.

There are no Moral Victories...they don't put (MV)after L do they? I want us to beat SIU, but the choice was which do you prefer? A 3-0 start and a win against a top 15 is my first choice...should be a hell of a confidence booster...then ride that wave to a win over UNC for some national exposure, hey Santa Clara beat their championship team why can't we beat a younger version? If SIU goes our way, great, but if both the above happen I'm not slitting my wrists over a loss to the Salukis.

I haven't been wringing anything over recruiting. I'm just joining the crowd that is tired of accepting 4 games over 500 and saying we're on the right path. We've got the pieces in place to have a decent team...and then we get, "let's hope we go 2-1 in this thing." Why is everyone going to be content with beating Lamar, Louisiana Tech, and then losing to T A&M and call it a great weekend? We've got to knock some of these people off. Why not T A&M? They play a lot like UB's style. In your face defense, scores in the 50's, we shouldn't concede anything to the Aggies...C'mon Brich, time to expect more.

Two all conference Frosh (one an all american),All conference NBA draft camp invited Center, three juniors who have racked up significant minutes and a talented enigmatic senior vying for the other two spots...this year, the mantra should be accept no prisoners, no moral victories (except maybe UNC), no excuses...just wins and the NCAA!

Torch, wouldn't this be our 2006 class since they can all play this year? Also, I wouldn't be calling JJ our incumbent PF... our enigmatic PF or erstwhile PF would be more like it.

Hey, TajMahal 79, I'm originally from the great state of Maine....watch it there, buddy. Maine had some great Yankee Conference champs back in the early to mid 60s...and they'd kick our ass in Hockey and Baseball.

Not living there, hard to judge...but seeing what other schools do to promote their programs...we suck.

I'm no prude, but the 5th question in these things is sexist... not relevant to the board. Find a chat room or some other site to discuss which celeb you'd most like to get rejected by......

I don't know what you have to be to get in trouble...if anything other than a school official. But a fan going on a kid's website...my face...or whatever is really no different than the fan the kid meets at a Walmart and says, "hey, you're not really going to Kentucky are you?" Or whatever else he hears from fans of other schools. How's the NCAA going to stop that? But Broy brings up a good point...I'll lay you a 1,000 to 1 AC's and probably even some HC's monitor recruits' sites and pose as fans...Hell, I wouldn't put anything past a lot of these coaches when it comes to landing a prize recruit. Some of 'em would prostitute their own wives and mothers for a blue chipper.

Isn't it rather late for this not to be known? What dates are we having trouble with. Is below the schedule as we know it: 16 conference games...two w/ X, Dayton, and RI the balance being single games with the rest of the conference. UNC, Loyola, SIU, Missouri State, Mississippi, 2 games at Tx A&M tourney. That makes 23 games I know of. So we've got 4-5 games to fill in? Are we playing in any holiday tourneys?

Cheeseman, Huggins may have done that in the past, but ask his good friend Bobby Lutz, who gave him a stirring testimonial at his going away party, what he thinks of Huggy bear these days. Huggy's trying to steal the Beasely kid away, top 10, by hiring Charlotte's AC. Sampson, Stemler case excluded, is a proven rule breaker and has no morals when it comes to recruiting. I'm still surprised IU hired him, he seems beneath their tradition.

Cheeseman would have been impressed had you stated " a potential top 100 class of '08 recruit." That would have arched his eyebrows.

The only way we get in the Big East is if as Tarheel says a couple of FB schools leave for the B-10 plus we have a program that is above mediocre. Even then it's doubtful as the BE would try and replace defectors with other FB schools...see Memphis and others. The BCS money is big they don't want to lose it.
