Dude relax. I think you've let one offhand comment about confusing Sloan and AD go to your head. Take a deep breath and a chill pill.

I'd like to think that AD dosen't see himself as the next Michael Jordan. If he does, he's going to have a hard cranial impact with reality one day soon. I think AD will be a terrific player for SLU but not 18-20 points per game.

I was was kind of PO'd that I didn't get an invite being mearly a long time season ticket holder and not a current Billiken Club member but after these reports I see I was the one who didn't get screwed!

I nitwits who say AD will ave 18-20 a game will be disappointed. I won't be. AD was a last second pick up after Romar screwed us over. In that light anything AD does is a pleasant surprise. He's already better than most of the role players in the recent past. Compare him to Ross Varner and Big sky montana guy who's name escapes me at the moment.

I don't like the AD vs DD comparison at all. AD has more heart with his left ventricle than Drew has in his whole family. The points per game stat may be the thing they have in common.

Very similar players with AD having more time to show more upside. While AD and Marque are completely different types of players I think the comparision has more to do with value to the team. Offensively I don't think AD will be more valuable than Perry.

I wasn't thrilled with his offense either but the bills have done ok in the past with centers who have been great defenders like Kenny and Chris Heinrich. If they can score too, great, but I'll be happy if we don't lose defensively with the change over from Kenny to Tom. As you say better a 6'10" wide load style defender than a 6'6" scoring threat that gets pushed out of the way on defense.

Roy I don't mean to start another Deiner bashing thread but you said the same sort of thing about Drew. AD will be one of my all time favorite Billikens but I'd be surprised if he surpasses Perry as a scoring threat. If you need a solid guard to hound the opposing teams guard to distraction he's your man. If it's down to the last second on the clock I think we'll have better options to create a shot from traffic. Not that AD can't do it but I don't know that that role will fall to him.

It's not Larry's fault or Drew's fault or or Chris Braun's fault or Troy's fault. It's Charlie's fault. I'd have taken a free ride to SLU. I'm sure they were all happy to.

much better than our previous players that survived on hustle only. He's got skills and hustle and as with Chris Sloan and (Chris Heinrich earlier) I just don't like our team as much when he isn't on the floor.

It used to make me sick when Charlie would cozy up to him. Kind of like those Hollywood idiots talking about what a great guy Castro is.

I never said I didn't like Ryan or that I thought he didn't try or that Spoon used him correctly, I just want it known I don't want to see his ilk playing center for the Bills ever again.

A shorter Heinrich or Kenny with a freethrow or Baniak with the urgency to mix it up defensively. Any of the above just not Leuchtefeld.

I'd rather see Tom compared to Heinrich, and Kenny Brown than to Ryan though. We need a load in the middle to replace Kenny. Ryan was never a load.

I don't even like to see them in the same paragraph. We need Tom to be a bigger time player than Leuch. Period. You didn't state that they were the same just that you thought Tom would be better. I'd like to think that they aren't in the same class.
