So let me get this straight. Are you saying that the majority of this thread that feels this is a good game is not sound thinking? Cheese you are out numbered on this one,but then again we must not be sound thinking.
Gee Cheese it's good to know that your the only sound thinking person on this board. The buzz this game will create in St. Louis is worth playing the game alone.I think you are totally wrong.
This is a good post. One has to wonder how much longer Biondi will be at SLU. While he has done many great things in the infastructure area I think the university might be better off without him. He is continually fighting with the faculty, the endowment has declined.[yes I know the markets have tanked but where are the new contributions] He is always getting in trouble with the bishop.[to me thats a good thing] You just wonder when he might retire.
According to the Wall Street Journal the Heat will pay Lebron $19.2 million per season for 5 years. Cleveland could have paid him $20.8 million per season for 6 years.
My guess is that the universities cut in this is pretty fixed. Global Spectrum probably guarantees x amount of dollars and maybe a small percentage of ticket sales and the rest they keep. I think the University has little to do with what goes on in the building.
Saw your comment in the Post that Dooley's was rumored to be going into the John Town Hall location . Tell me it's true. Since I live in the area that would be awsome. I always felt their burger was as good as anybody in town. Good fries also.
I actually think Davis and Harangody are a lot alike. I don't agree that Harangody is a better defensive player. You can't play a 1 man zone in the nba. I do see them fighting for a lot of the same minuets. We will see.
