    In case anyone is curious how the attendance compares to last season, non-conference games. At least two of these included major ticket giveaways. I would have expected more SLU fans in the seats with more opposing team fans than typical. vs. Avila: 4925 vs. Loyola Marymont: 5,210 vs. Quinnipiac: 4,225 vs. UMass Lowell: 4,925 vs. Jackson State: 3,810 vs. Chicago State: 4,815 vs. William Woods: 5,139 The season average last year was 5,966.

    I believe the rumor and I believe that there is no point in getting worked up over it because as someone else said, how often do we see players declared academically ineligible. It almost never happens.
