Blaming Biondi is always a good idea.

Not the end of the world, but frustrating loss as I really don't think Wisconsin is much better than the Bills. Reasons we lost - early foul trouble for Dwayne, took him too late to get into the flow. We should have exploited our quickness advantage more and drove to the basket more when the outside shots weren't falling. The biggest reason we lost had nothing to do with our role players - it had everything to do with our guards. McBroom had some good moments, but too many bad decisions and ill advised shots. McCall had a couple nice steals and drives, but seemed to disappear in the second half and couldn't get his outside shot going and Jett was the biggest disappointment. We need a big game out of him to win a game like that. Terrible free throw shooting, not enough good drives to the basket and he missed midrange shots he has gotten much better at knocking. Overall a poor game for one of my favorite players.

Not sure what the problem is. Seems like a good kid for an entry level job. Sounds like a kid Coach Crews had a good relationship. Why not reward him with an opportunity? Obviously Crewd knows him very well and feels comfortable working with him.

That is simply not true. I remember watching Chris during the early part of his career trying to figure out why he was getting so much playing time. The answer was simple, there just wasn't much talent on some of those Bills teams. Thankfully, the picture is most definitely different now with the program.

I probably go back further than most around here, but Harry Rogers had some of the best leaping ability I have seen. Dunking just wasn't as big of a part of the game way back, but Harry could really elevate, quick and graceful.

The A-10 is certainly less appealing without Xavier, but the Valley is also less appealing without Creighton. No need to consider a move tot he Valley. It's Big East or bust.

I think you just gave a perfect explanation why there were quite a few critics of Soderberg, or as you call them "haters." Wasting scholarships on poor players and players with academic risks coupled with then not using some available scholarships when you have roster needs is a recipe for failure.

I ran into Alex Karras in the Detroit Airport way back when I was in high school. A lot of people went up to talk to him and he couldn't have been nicer. He was country strong, probably not a lot weight lifting.

Open to the entire public. I attended a few years ago when Coach Majerus was there. I think he answered questions for about 90 minutes. Conklin and Cassity were also there to speak, so hopefully they bring along some of the players this year. I am not a member or part of any special group and they even let a hillbilly like me in! I just got invited to the Billikens Luncheon with Coach Crews at the Missouri Athletic Club next Tuesday. Is anybody else going? It is open to the public. I remember Coach Crews from his playing days at Indiana. My sister was going to IU at the time. Of course I later remember him coaching against the Bills at Evansville, but this will be my first time meeting him. I plan to ask him if he shares the optimism Coach Majerus had for John Manning. Also, curious how difficult recruiting has been under the circumstances. It should be interesting to hear from him in his new role.

I have never heard that Frease was singled out. Is there a history between Gates and Frease?
